Holy cow, check out the guy really selling the zombie acting. Pretty cool. He goes from getting bitten to zombified and acting crazy in seconds. That… That.. would be pretty damned scary. I don’t see how “World War Z” is going to be accurate to the book, but it might not suck, and I’ll take that.
Thanks, Alicia for the find. Pretty cool.
That was awesome. I would love to see that movie if only to see that guy spas out. š
I had a friend who graduated the year before me who did a little zombie attack walk while I filmed it. I would show you, but I can’t get to the video right now.
To be honest, this kinda made me angry. Most of the unique drive of WWZ came from how the zombies in this movie were both slow and a scray threat. I especially liked that in the book, it could take days to turn which made it plausible how the disease spread over the world. Running zombies who turn in seconds (and a smart enough to just infect someone and make a run for more victims would be impossible to stop and just overrun one continent. As a consequence: Almost nothing from the source material could be transferred to the movie because the whole freaking situation is different.
My question is: If you have the rights to adapt an unique and outstanding work of the zombie genre to a movie, why change it into a generic movie that just blends into the crowd?
Nerdrage over, thank you for listening.
I feel your pain, but what are you going to do. Hollywood has a habit of taking the things we love and screwing it up. Sometimes for some of us it’s awesome, more often than not they completely screw it up.
I still can’t see how this movie will be faithful to the book. I would just go with the idea that it’s just a completely separate zombie movie that “Coincidentally” has the same title as the book you love.
I still stand by the belief that wwz would make a better tv series then movie cause they could jump around to the different events happening through the world a lot easier thus staying more true to the book. I will say one thing though It made an amazing audio book
Damn, that actors performance was amazing.
