Valve unveils new L4D/L4D2 expansion: “The Sacrifice” October 5th

Francis, always my favorite zombie killer.
Be excited because on October 5th, Valve will release a new campaign for both “Left 4 Dead 1” and “Left 4 Dead 2.”
“The Sacrifice” DLC, will bridges the gap between the two games, and explains the mysterious events of previous downloadable campaign “The Passing.”
If just having more gameplay wasn’t good enough Valve will also be giving Left 4 Dead 2 owners, the “No Mercy” campaign from the original Left 4 dead game. Owners of either version will get a huge 190 page comic that details the events leading up to “The Sacrifice”.

Is there any wonder I love Zoe so much?
All of this awesomeness comes from PC Gamer who had quite an nice interview with Valve. It’s a pretty good read and gives you some great incite into the company.
I’ve not been able to play the second yet, but my favorite character from the first game is Bill. When I learned that you find Bill dead in the DLC for L4D2, my first reaction was, “Not fair.”
I think they need to have some sort of “character builder” for the game so you can make your own players.
I would play that game with three disturbingly hot cheerleaders blasting away the zombie menace.
