It’s the fourth of July so I don’t imagine that a heck of a lot of people are going to see this today. Oh well, the webcomic’s update schedule must be maintained.
I always get some song stuck in my warped brain. This will last for hours or days sometimes weeks. It’s really annoying and I can’t stop singing along…. which gets me odd looks at work.
It’s basically a constant soundtrack that plays in the movie that is my life. Question is what will be the soundtrack you’ll play in your brain during the zombie apocalypse?
Heavy metal, something a little more orchestral…….. Cthulhu forbid…. Polka?
These are important issues people.
Here I was ready to just be going through old posts, but Joy oh Joy (Kandi and Kristi too), I get a new comic. Yay!
My sound track, I have an eclectic taste in music … Polka I don’t think so…. unless you include German Drinking songs (En Prosit) or it would make the scene really funny.
German Drinking songs would be awesome. Or Irish drinking songs or… You know what I just like drinking songs.
And I don’t even drink… There is something wrong with me. 🙂
Themesong für the apocalypse…
I vote fpr something from Tokio Hotel, it would sheer people up brcause as long as this stuff is playing you don’t consider dying that bad of an option.
I like wildly inappropriate music for zombie fighting. Sure you could go with some heavy metal to get your blood pumping, but what about say some classical music.
I always have a song stuck in my head. When you have one stuck in your head, it is called ear worms which is based off of a German word. I like the idea that songs are little worms that burrow into your head through your ears.
My theme song for Zompocalypse would be Creature Feature’s Aim for the Head. A funny bouncy tune that offers good advice for killing zombies.
Ear Worms!!! Ah man, now that is going to give me nightmares.
LOL, yep just tell your coworkers when they give you odd looks for singing that you have ear worms.
It’s gotta have a good beat so you can swing your ‘implement of destruction’ to the rhythm.
“Opposites Attract” – Paula Abdul
‘Nuff said.
I would load up an iPod with as many good songs as I can find(and I know a lot of good songs) and just put it on shuffle. As far as an actual theme goes, I have a couple in mind. My top three choices for an actual theme song would be this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRkC4vDxR1c&feature=channel_video_title , this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8wSh_Eryv8 , and this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GjaXszYMUo&feature=related .
And just for shits and giggles, here are some others: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVflN_s8FJk&feature=channel_video_title , http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsrkCiwXN2E&feature=channel_video_title , and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UW1toLy_FMQ&feature=channel_video_title . Enjoy the music. 😀
Queen’s “Dont Stop Me Now”
Bohemian Rhapsody too?
This definitely calls for Royal Hunt. And of their following songs would be perfect for the official theme:
Kingdom Dark
Legion of the Damned
River of Pain
Running Wild
Tearing Down the World.
Man, your set. I would suggest a little classical music however.
“Night on Bald Mountain”
“La Fortuna”
“Hall of the Mountain King”
I would go with wailing bagpipes.
I would listen to the song “brains”
I mean “Your Brains”
“All we wanna do is eat your brains. We’re not unreasonable I mean no one’s going to eat your eyes”
The lyrics to that song…. So haunting. (I promised myself I wouldn’t cry)
