Change the music and suddenly a horrifying series about the zombie apocalypse becomes a heart warming family sitcom.
I’m going to sit my little kids down and have them watch “The Walking Dead” now. I think they’re ready.

Hell my kids are more like me they’re in… I think I’ll pitch this to the wife. maybe she’ll start watching it with me instead of the Bachelor…hmmm The show Dead Set was a great mix of Big Brother during the zombie apocalypse…. maybe the same could be done with the Bachelor…. The Bachelor vs. zombies or maybe Cthulhu…. “Ladies today your date with the Bachelor will be to the lovely seaside villiage of Dunwich, where you will have the day to explore the villiage and take a boat tour to the “devil’s reef” I’d watch that.
Vacation spots based around H.P. Lovecrafts writings would be awesome! Sign me up.
I think the seaside village you’re thinking of is Innsmouth and had the “Deep ones” trying to breed with everyone, The Dunwich Horror took place in Massachusetts and had Yog Sothoth’s creepy sons trying to bring back the old ones.
I just realized what a HUUUUUUUUGGGGGEEEE nerd I am. 🙂
I was listening to the Cthulhu musical and they were singing Arkham and Dunwich… I couldn’t think of any other villiage names.
There do you feel less nerdy?
If you can find the musical I suggest giving it a listen… also the Arkham carolers are good for Christmas music… That is going to be the next years halloween costume. Family dresses up as carollers and walk around singing: “Awake ye scary great old ones”, ‘The Carol of the Old Ones” and all the others. I can’t wait to see the looks on peoples faces when they realize we aren’t actually sining Christmas carols. Some of the songs are free downloads from their website if you want em. Google search A very Scary Solstice
I love the “Scary Solstice” that is the best song.
Last convention I went too I was introduced to Filking. I know that sounds perverted, but it’s not. It’s basically nerd fan music. “Scary Solstice” qualifies. I’ve got to find more of it, it makes me laugh.
You should sing and record some of the awesome songs you come up with. Stick them on You tube and I’ll happily post them.
Maybe I could inflict that level of horror upon the world. I could be the next Rebecca Black!…. but a guy.
