I’m rapidly becoming a huge fan of Japanese B-movies. I found these trailers after I finished watching “Machine Girl”. Now that’s a crazy movie, with ridiculous amounts of blood geysering everywhere.
I can only assume that the Japanese eat tremendous amounts of salt as this is the only thing that can explain the EXTREME high blood pressure needed to create that much sprayed blood.
In short I really love these movies. They are fun.
Fair warning, these clips, while awesome, are kinda gory. You have been warned.
I have always enjoyed some of the Asian B movie zombie flicks. My 2 favorite being “Bio Zombie” and “Versus” I place those 2 titles right next to “Dead Alive” because of the gore and campyness.
I think I am going to have to watch Zombie Samurai just so I can understand why when one of the fellas are cutting his own throught, his head goes off like a bottle rocket.
I’m telling you too much salt in that guys diet or maybe he ate the poisonous blowfish and just wanted to end it all sooner.
Plus I just “acquired” a copy of “Battle Royale” I’ve never seen it, but heard good things. Also if you haven’t seen it check out “Machine Girl” it’s so over the top that I could not help but love it.
Interesting. Now if only I could speak or read Japanese.
You don’t need to speak it to enjoy it. Blood spraying like it’s coming out a fire hose. So over the top that it’s awesome.
Although the blood preassure isn’t up to Asian standards(and I suspect you’ve already recommended it and I’ve just forgotten), I respectfully submit the Norwegian classic Dead Snow as a must have in any Z-movie collection. Killing Nazi zombies with snowmobiles. That is kinda classy, no?
There is nothing greater under the bloody sun than Nazi Zombies. The most ultimate badass monster ever. Pure Evil.
As a major languages nerd I feel obliged to point out that the first movie is Korean. You can tell because of the circles in the writing. And considering this was posted ages ago you’ve probably watched it by now but Battle Royal is awesome. 🙂
I haven’t seen that one yet actually. I’ve got a copy of it though.
So much to watch! Madness.
