I like the idea of an endless wasteland filled with the ravenous hordes of the undead as much as the next guy. But you know what I also like? Food and video games. It occurs to me that if I would like to ensure a steady supply of food and video games I’m going to have to defend that which creates those two things…. People.
Now don’t get me wrong, I both loath and despise people just like every right thinking American should, but I need them to keep me entertained and chubby. If zombies rise up and kill them all I’m going to be in a bit of trouble. After I stop laughing of course.
So it is with grudging reluctance that I will have to take up arms against the undead during the coming war. This makes me sad.
I better console myself with some food and video games right now.
Board games are always fun too, and you don’t need power for them either. Just get a fellow survivor who is on the ok side of humanity and you have fun. There are tons of board games, and it doesn’t take much to create, so damn all those worthless people. As for beer and food. Food is as basic as it comes and any one can learn to grow food. Kmart sells beer making kits, all you need is to grow the stuff once you run out. Bring on the zombies.
But I am a lifelong Mt. Dew addict. If society collapses I can’t make my own Mt. Dew.
I will die at that point…. Out of sadness.
Why should only the kids have an advent calender. I have an advent calendar now of 25 different beers… 10 of them are seasonal christmas/winter brews (thank you micro breweries)… rest are ones I haven’t tried before or looked kinda christmassy (Corona = Feliz Navidad). Nothing to do with zombies, just wanted to share.
I NEED one of these. Where by chance did you come across such a wonderful thing?
It’s a DIY… Until I can get my local liquor board to make one.
I respect your dedication to the Hops and Barley Arts. That is awesome.
