I posted earlier the released pictures for Resident Evil:Afterlife, now witness the trailer.
I heard this movie was going to be done in 3D, that of course made me cringe, then I heard they were using the system James Cameron developed and I sighed with relief.
Then I saw this trailer and cringed again as I saw a whole bunch of stuff (Ninja stars) that I bet will be jumping out me in the theater. I hate that, come on guys 3D is nice, but if you use it as a gimmick it’s going to suck.
You know what? I need to lighten up. It doesn’t matter, The Resident Evil movies are pure “Popcorn movies.” I’m not going to this movie to see “Schindler’s list” I’m going to see a pretty woman kick the crap out of a horde of zombies and mutants… and that’s pretty awesome.
Go, Milla Jovovich, go! You get those zombies… I’ll stay back here and watch.

Beer will save you from the coming zompocalypse…. it’s true, I totally did not make that up. Anyway this clip made me laugh so I share.

Got some tidbits from GameTrailer about your favorite game and mine “Left 4 Dead 2″
Valve writer Chet Faliszek broke our hearts, stating that in the upcoming Left 4 Dead 2 DLC you will only encounter three of the original survivors. Three, because the fourth is dead. Then, in the DLC for Left 4 Dead that’s released at a later time, you’ll play through the events that lead to one of your team’s great sacrifice.
Ok I’m going to go out on a limb here and say the guy who dies has got to be Francis…. Did you see how much that guy liked his pills. Clearly he has a problem.
Oh well, more DLC is a welcome thing, and even some DLC for the original “Left 4 Dead” sounds great. Make a noble sacrifice though? But what if your a horrible person like me. Can’t I instead choose to sacrifice someone else. (Wow did I just say that outloud… I’m a bad person.)
One last tidbit is that they will have a comic about “Left 4 Dead” no details on what this means so it could be online, published, a mini comic…. who knows. But any more material would be a welcome thing….. I’m excited.
Man spends month fighting zombies… on Twitter
January 13th, 2010 | by Zombie CarterKnown only as Gus from Florida a US man has spent the past month “Tweeting” about fighting off hordes of undead zombies. He announced in December that, “Zombies are everywhere and this is my diary of the apocalypse.” Since then he has been updating his Twitter account @manvszombies to document his fight for survival against the army of the undead. Typical updates include details of zombie sightings and his hunt for food and other survivors.
God Speed, brave soldier. Our prayers for your continued survival go with you.
I absolutely love it when people do stuff like this and while I’m aware that he’s just doing this for fun I’m going to take this guys Twitters seriously and start saving up food and ammo.

I loved this movie, for me it hit perfectly on the funny/gory/weird meter. While I’m sure there are people out there who think 3D films are a gimmick, and to be fair they kinda are, if done well and not over the top stupidly, it can turn out really well….. That was a very long and poorly constructed sentence. I sense my long long dead English teacher is now spinning in her grave.
From Variety:
“Everyone had fun watching (the first) ‘Zombieland’; making it a more visceral experience can only make it better,” said the film’s producer Gavin Polone. “I don’t think you want to see ‘Ordinary People’ in 3-D. But ‘Zombieland’ is clearly one movie that will benefit from (the technique).”
Sony has closed deals with Polone and helmer Ruben Fleischer to return for a sequel to the original, which cost $24 million and has earned $85.2 million worldwide to date (“Zombieland” has only opened in a few territories overseas). The Culver City studio is currently in talks with stars Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg to reprise their roles as a pair of post-apocalyptic survivors. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are working on the sequel’s screenplay.
I assure you, they already have my money as I am desperate to learn more rules for survival in the coming zombpocalypse.
