Zombie Music: FrightTown zombies, just chillin’. Because I need to post more and because I thought this was kind of awesome.

Dancing zombies just does my cold dead heart a lot of good. I thought this was a cute video and I love it when people don’t take themselves too seriously. The nice uptempo song merged with a hungry horde of dancing zombies makes for a pretty amusing and memorable music video.
The music is very nice and the band looks suitably zombie like. And obviously I’m a huge fan of the idea here that zombies aren’t just relentless eating machines and that they may just want to hang out, listen to some nice music, and do a little dancing. I approve of this music video.
“Only One is one of those ‘turn around” songs. The idea of a Zombie love story came to me a while ago. I wanted the song and video almost to be juxtaposed but still somehow have an element of love….and humour. I think we made a seriously cool and funny video. I love it. Even if I do look dead!” ~JOHN BUTLER

I’ve got to get back into the habit of posting more than just my comic on the blog. It’s just been a super busy time this last year. That’s a lousy excuse I know so I just repent my evil ways and start off with dancing zombies.
Because there is no reason being a zombie has to suck.
Zombie Toddlers Will Kill Us All! I’ve been warning people about this dread peril for years but to no avail. This short film is called “Tears” by David Altobelli and Jeff Desom, with a score pulled from HEALTH’s original soundtrack to ‘Max Payne 3′ from Rockstar Games.
I find this zombie music video both creepy and oddly beautiful. I don’t know what that says about me and I choose not to think about it.
The important thing to take away from this is that one: this is some pretty cool music set to some pretty trippy imagery. And two: when the zombie apocalypse finally comes there’s going to be a lot of undead kids running around or crawling as it were.
I’ve seen a lot of zombie movies over the years and I can truthfully say that I’m pretty desensitized to adults getting eaten by hordes of the living dead. Zombie toddlers though… That gets me.
Probably because I have an eight year old daughter who I desperately hope she has a better and more successful life than I do. The idea of her as a zombie toddler gives me the sadness. Now when she’s an adult I’ll proudly inform her that she can become a zombie all she wants and wander the blasted earth relentlessly hunting the living for their precious organs.
But she’s going to have to grow up first before I’m cool with that “Life Choice.”
I need more zombie musicals. I thought this was very clever and cute. I was also impressed they managed to convey the stereotypical siege scenario with nothing more than a few boards and some zombie hands. Good work.
This is a clip from “The Dead Inside”
To be honest I haven’t talked much about this movie because the premise seamed a bit more like “Paranormal Activity” than anything zombie related. But I liked this zombie clip so much that now I think I have to check it out.
Wes (Dustin Fasching) is a burned out photographer paying the bills shooting weddings. Fi (Sarah Lassez) is the author of a series of zombie novellas called, The Dead Survive. They are lovers who, at one time, were at the top of their creative game, but now have misplaced their muse. When Fi begins to show signs of mental illness, Wes does everything in his power to help her get better. But darker forces lurk inside her, and soon they realize the true horror of the situation. Fighting against a disturbed entity, they rediscover inspiration in the grimmest corners of this musical horror movie.
This was sent to me by Travis. Thanks, man. Very cool.
Now I can’t get “The Zombie Song” out of my head. I love it that people make things like this. Very cool zombie music.
Awesome find by Chana, thanks for sending me this.
A little bit of homage to Micheal Jackson’s Thriller. Also as the video goes on it gets delightfully creapier and creapier. I was a bit unnerved by the weird guy licking his lips.
Kim Lenz and Her Jaguars make a mighty fine zombie tune. This is worth your valuable ear time.
