It’s just my opinion that the last “Really good” zombie movie Romero made is “Day of the Dead.” (I sure many of you will disagree. Don’t worry it’s okay to be wrong… Please don’t kill me)
I saw this so long ago, seeing this trailer brings back such a wave of nostalgia for me that’s very akin to agony.
I love old horror movies. I’m not sure why I prefer them to today’s movies. Maybe it’s the sensibilities of the time they were made, but I can’t help it. They are great.

“Survival of the Dead” Redband trailer…. meh.
March 31st, 2010 | by Zombie Carter
Looks like it was edited better than the crappy trailers I’ve seen before, but… meh. It’s still a movie with a premise that makes me gag, bad acting and weak special effects.
I’ll be honest I feel like I SHOULD like this movie but every thing I see about it makes me think…. “Suck.” I need to get a copy and watch it, either to exercise these feelings or have them confirmed.
A bit gory… watch at your own risk.
British filmmakers Howard and Jonathan Ford collaborated on a zombie film called The Dead.
I love it when somebody does something interesting with this genre. Is this a movie about survivors in a city.. No, Farmhouse, no, a bunch of morons in a mall who get themselves killed through their own stupid decisions,… also no. This one’s Set in Africa and I’ve got to be honest this movie might not suck. I thought this looked pretty good.
Synopsis: After crashing off the coast, Lt. Brian Murphy battles for survival across the vast terrrains of Africa in search for a way to get back to his beloved family. Joined by local military man Daniel Dembele who is also searching for his son, together both men join forces all the while battling against the ever present threat of the living dead!
I’ll keep my eyeballs peeled (Literally…Gross!) for more information.
“Worst Case” is dead… Long live “Army of Frankenstein”
January 27th, 2010 | by Zombie Carter

Well I was depressed when I heard the news that “Worst Case Scenerio” was not going to be made. I posted the trailer for it and it looked awesome. On the plus side it looks like the makers are doing kinda a “Prequelesque” movie to it which hopefully will have all the elements that made WCS look so awesome.
We’ll be watching this project eagerly.
Words from the director: “The market for zombie movies is saturated and no distributor is buying them anymore: chances for financing WCS became very small. Also there are two other nazi-zombie flicks out there and as a result of that ours would look like a rip-off… When it became clear last year that WCS was as good as dead I came up with the idea of a WSC-prequel with al really low-budget of half a million Euro. That project almost came to fruitaton, but I can’t use the name Worst Case Scenario due to some rights-issues. The only way to get it on track was a different story and new title: Army of Frankenstein. This is still a working title but I think it covers the story nicely. The visual style will be the same as I will direct AoF! WCS can stay what is is, two kick-ass trailers and a great and promising story that never saw the light of day. Mabye someday we’ll dig it up, but than the Army of Frankstein will e roaming the Earth! This time we don’t want to rush things, we’re talking with a producer and are still writing the script with Miguel Tejada Flores.”
I dispute his assumption that the market is saturated with zombies… Sorry in my world there just is no such thing as too many zombie movies.
I have not seen this movie anywhere. I don’t think it’s going to be made, but this trailer is so bad @$$ed I must research this further. In my opinion Nazi’s and zombies go hand in hand and make the best villians. I’ve got several books on Hitler and his involvement with the occult. It makes for a fascinating subject and fuel for some of the best AND worst horror and sci-fi stories.
Leave a comment if you know anything about this movie.
