Stealing from the dead: A victimless crime.  Unless he’s a zombie, then he’s going to be pretty pissed.

Looting is going to be one of the funner aspects of the coming zombpocalypse.  And well if your conscience bothers you, try thinking of it all as a massive video game and all those zombies you are shooting are merely dropping good loot.

Cross your fingers for that zombie boss dropping a tier five combat shotgun…. also some massive shoulder pads… and  a pony.

Needs more blood.

I need this, “Dawn of the Dead” the board game.  That is awesome!

I played the “Zombies” game from Twilight creations with my kids (Because that’s good parenting) and had a blast.  Now I can share again the horrific horrifying horror of the coming zombpocalypse… at the mall.

I wonder if this game follows the movie too closely, maybe have a “Making stupid decisions that get everyone killed” rule.  Then it would be hilarious.

Dawn of the Dead (based on the classic 1978 horror film) can be played as a two-player game (humans vs. zombies), as a solitaire game, or as a cooperative game with two to four players controlling the human heroes. The game map represents the shopping mall from the movie. Cardboard counters signify the human characters and zombies. To win, the zombie player must kill any three characters; the human player must secure the mall by closing all four entrances and eliminating all zombies within.

Plants Vs. Zombies Coming to Xbox Live

Popcap Game’s smash hit Plants Vs. Zombies will be coming to Xbox Live on September 8th!

The controls have been tweaked for the Xbox.  We’ll have to wait to see how well that works Vs. the touch screen of my wife’s iPod version of the game.

Some details about the release:

  • A total of seven game modes, including two new multiplayer modes: Co-Op and Vs. Mode
  • 12 achievements and 21 mini-games — more than any other adaptation, and including the exclusive Heavy Weapon™-inspired mini-game
  • A goofy new way to track and share progress online, where players create their own custom house and cruise down the street to see their friends’ homes
  • The highest resolution of any Plants vs. Zombies adaptation to date at 1920 x 1080
  • All 50 levels of the original Adventure mode along with Puzzle, Survival, and Zen Garden
  • Multiplayer can be co-operative or competitive modes
  • Plants Vs Zombies will be released on September 8th, 2010 for 1200 MS Points.

Also the ‘Thriller’ Zombie has now been replaced as a ‘Disco Dancing’ Zombie since the Michael Jackson estate are a bunch of humorless jerks.

Red Dead Redemption Gets Zombified

Everything is better when you add zombies.

You’ve got a hit video game…. but you ask yourself. How do I make it better? Simple, add zombies. Everything is better with the living dead.

Rockstar Games is adding four new downloadable expansions to their hit game, Red Dead Redemption. The “Nightmare Pack” is described as “Ghost towns and cemeteries come alive in a West gone horribly wrong.”

See, there is no part of that statement that doesn’t make me giggle like a little girl. (A very manly little girl though… so manly)

The “Undead Nightmare Pack” will have new single player quests, but also up to 8 new zombie characters for mulitplayer. Nice.

Zombrex Dead Rising Sun Live Action Movie Trailer

I posted about this trailer when it was supposedly about the first Dead Rising Game. Looks like the editors have put more work into the trailer and revamped it to promote the new Dead Rising 2 Game. (Yeah Capcom Marketers?)

This one is less bloody than the previous trailer I posted about a while back. Also this one is dubbed in English.

I’m not sure that I like it in English, If I can understand what they are saying then I know how silly the dialogue is. That’s less than awesome.

Synopsis:

Written and directed by Keiji Inafune, Capcom’s global head of research and development, Zombrex Dead Rising Sun follows two brothers as they try to escape the zombie outbreak that has hit Japan. Exploring the darker side of human nature and filmed entirely on location in Japan, Zombrex Dead Rising Sun, both pays homage to the zombie movies of the 1960s and ’70s and provides links with the videogame world of Dead Rising.

Dead Rising 2 Co-Op Gameplay

August 31st Dead Rising 2 is coming out. This video shows a demo of the co-op mode. Looks fun in a very super awesome way, I can’t wait till my X-box gets back from the shop.

Dang it I set this post to run in the morning, but screwed it up I guess. I feel shame.
