Yeah! Some news about the new DLC for Dead Rising 2. Frank from the first Dead Rising teams up with Chuck Green…. Hilarity will ensue.
Set immediately after the events of Dead Rising 2 and available exclusively on Xbox LIVE, Dead Rising 2: CASE WEST sees Frank team up with Chuck Greene for some serious co-op action as the pair embarks on a brand new case set in the Phenotrans Facility on the outskirts of Fortune City.
Frank AND Chuck are now able to take photographs of key evidence that will provide indisputable proof of Phenotrans’ part in the zombie outbreaks, not just in Fortune City, but across the United States. As the story unfolds expect to see cameo appearances from other characters from Dead Rising that will provide further links to the original game.
Yeah! Those two crazy kids are going to start going on crazy adventures together, fighting crime and junk, then maybe…. maybe… they might kiss.
Well that’s how my slightly demented fan fiction is going to go, anyway…. DON’T YOU JUDGE ME!
I found this little gem today and as you are all aware I loves me some zombie shooting. This is gameplay footage of the upcoming “Dead Meets Lead” created by Keldyn Interactive.
Synopsis:
You take on the role of the captain and his mission to obliterate the scourge from the islands. Armed with his Spada de lato side-sword, a custom made Halsteiger blunderbuss pistol and an old Bible, you take on several missions on the Islands. Before long you will experience the extent of the plague, how not only humans are affected but animals and other living entities, all turning into dominions of the dark lords. Perhaps you will even venture deep enough into the island to find the restless spirits that has caused this plague themselves, only the brave can tell. But you must hurry, almost all of the villages have been overtaken and only a few can still call themselves human habitats. Dead Meets Lead is a fast paced, zombie-slaying, action PC game set to be released in 2011.
I’m always a big fan of mixing up the Zombie Genre so having a Sea Captain battling zombies seams like a win idea to me. I’m also glad that these aren’t viral zombies but are ether voodoo or witchcraft zombies. That’s a plus.
We love zombies and the Caribbean at the 18th century is a fascinating place and time. Putting them together seemed like a good idea, and as far as we know no one has made an action game in this setting before.
Now granted this is a small clip from the game, but where the hell are “The Captain’s” crew? If I were that dude I would be pissed. Lazy Jerks, letting their commanding officer destroy the zombie horde all by himself. I would fire the lot of them… out of a cannon.
Speaking of which, if this game lets you fire cannons at zombies I will be happy.
The most adorable evil undead abomination I have ever seen. I want him, I will name him Bub the Zombie and we will be best friends and go on wacky adventures together. Possibly we will stay up late telling each other stories in a fort constructed wholly from pillows and bedsheets. I will love my wacky Zombigotchi friend forevers… until I get distracted by another shiny object.
I was playing Plants Vs. Zombies with my daughter last night and had the urge to draw some concept/fan art for Plants Vs. Zombies 2.
Usually I like games with an incredibly high body count an copious amounts of blood (Like Monopoly, but with Razor blades!), but for some reason I find this game extremely addictive.
EXOR Studios announces the second free expansion for Zombie Driver that introduces a new ” Blood Race” mode into the game.
This time players will be able to race against other zombie apocalypse survivors in a brutal tournament in which the only rule is survival of the quickest. New exclusively created race tracks are full of destructible elements as well as hordes of zombies that try their best to prevent contestants from finishing the race.
“Blood Race” what the? That doesn’t sound like I’m running over zombies. It sounds like I’m taking a drive with Edward Cullen and he’s looking at me with his super… dreamy eyes…… sorry I got distracted.
