Zombie fighting technology marches on. Now you can get a zombie fighting chainsaw to atach to your gun as a bayonet…. That’s great, I guess.

Look I hate the chainsaw as a zombie fighting tool. Sure it makes you look awesome and makes you feel like more of a man, but they just aren’t practical.

Chainsaws are.
1. Noisy They are just going to draw more zombies to you.
2. Chainsaws are heavy and slow. Unless you are built like a linebacker or possibly a crazy cannibal from Texas you are going to be getting real slow real quick.
3. Fuel is going to be pretty hard to come by during a zombie apocalypse.
4. Does the idea of getting splattered by tonnes of possibly infectious zombie blood and juices sound like a good idea to you. That’s a messy weapon. One drop of zombie juice gets in your eye and you’ve had it.

It may look cool in the movies and in this video clip, but the chainsaw is a no go for zombies. Try a hammer, seams like a better option. Just my opinion of course.

I’ve never been watching a horror movie where the evil priest whips out a Gerbil and summons something horrible with that. (Slacker Evil Priests)

What? Gerbil sacrifices not good enough for you? I’ll have you know that Gerbils, spiritually speaking, are very similar to humans and are much prized by various evil entities from beyond our reality. They don’t even have to be virgins. In fact the more “experienced” the Gerbil the more valuable it is as a sacrifice.

Lol It is 12:30 for me right now. The later it gets the sillier I get. I could go on and on about the merits of Gerbil sacrifice verses Humans, but I really need sleep and I am getting a wee bit dizzy.

Possibly think of the zombified children at least. …Well both zombies and furries are suffering at the moment so that’s a plus.

What is the best armor for fighting zombies? Leather, chain mail, Kevlar,….. Speedos?

Vacuum form plastic would be a pretty good option. It’s lightweight and too hard to bite through. Plus dressing up as the Empire’s finest would be cool.

Or….

You could go with the speedo option. Sure it wouldn’t protect you much, but I’m assuming that the idea would be to distract the zombies with your excessive back hair thereby making it easier to defeat them.

When you run out of the best of the best you end up with the best of what’s left.

After a while during a zombie apocalypse your quality of zombie hunters is going to suffer somewhat due to attrition.  Eventually you’re going to end up scraping the bottom of the barrel.  Then it’s up to regular slobs to fight the zombies, people like,… well people like me.

Of course as I’ll be secretly (Or not so secretly) rooting for the zombies you may not want to fight side by side with me.  At any moment I may decide the battle is hopeless and throw myself to the hungry zombie horde.  I won’t lie, at that point I’m probably going to take you with me.  It’s just what I do.

BTW.  That guy with the Samuria sword… He may not look like it, but I assure you, get a couple Redbulls in him and he’s a badass with that thing.

Zombies Vs. Humans: A battle Royale.

I think when viewing today’s zombie webcomic it helps if you hum “Let the Bodies Hit the Floor” by Drowning Pool. I find that it helps set the right mood.

That gives me an odd thought, Why do so many zombie movies use heavy metal for their soundtrack…. and I mean way more than any other horror genre. In general I really don’t care for it (Zombieland being a notable exception).

I prefer a really good and menacing instrumental soundtrack to my scary movies.
