You all know I’m very pro zombie on this site, so it does my black oozing heart good to see a video of zombies and humans putting aside fear and prejudice to live together. It’s a beautiful thing, and has a wonderful message. Oh and I guess it’s advertising something, but I didn’t care about that.

Cool Dead Rising 3 Trailer. This doesn’t show even a lick of gameplay from the upcoming zombie survival horror game, but honestly I could care less. That is one heck of a CGI short. Honestly why do these people bother making games. They should just make feature length CGI movies.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m looking forward to Dead Rising 3 as much as the next zombie obsessed nerd, but dang. You’ve got to check this out. This “Trailer” for Dead Rising 3 is worth your precious eyeball time whether you are into video games or not.
Swiped some details from Wikipedia on the game.
Players control new protagonist Nick Ramos, searching for supplies and crafting weapons while traveling around the city of Los Perdidos in order to fight the undead and complete missions. Dead Rising 3 is set in a vast, open world environment which is reportedly larger than the worlds of Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2 combined. Players retain the ability to modify weaponry from Dead Rising 2, but without the need for a workbench, and will be able to discover and unlock blueprints for new items. Unlike the first two games in the series, Dead Rising 3 does not feature a time limit. Players will also be allowed to save their progress anywhere, as opposed to limiting saves to bathrooms. The game will include a “Nightmare Mode” for those who prefer the traditional timer. According to Capcom, the game will not have load times. Driving vehicles will be “a critical part of exploration” as players traverse Los Perdidos and scavenge for items.
Dead Rising 3 is scheduled for release in November 2013 on the Xbox One. Xbox One? Ah damnit. That may mean I’m out of luck for a while. I’m not exactly itching to run out and buy an Xbox One when they come out. Not with Microsoft being such creepy control freaks with their hardware.
I love my Xbox, I really do, but I’ll have to see some game play footage of Dead Rising 3 before it temps me into that kind of commitment. I hate exclusive titles on games.
Sorry guys, I’m sick as a dog and can’t get the comic out at the moment. But because I love you, yes in that creepy way, I have found you some funny stuff to watch.
So forgive me, and as soon as my antibiotics kick in I’ll be back up and running…. I am so nauseated right now.
I’m going to bed.
This was my favorite.
Now I can’t get “The Zombie Song” out of my head. I love it that people make things like this. Very cool zombie music.
Awesome find by Chana, thanks for sending me this.
While looking for some drawing zombies references I cam across these videos. Really impressive drawing skills and I like how these clips were put together. I’ve really got to figure out a way to film myself drawing zombies so I can put that up on Youtube as well.
Would you describe these as mutants or zombies…. possibly zombie mutants? No really, I’m asking.
Not all zombies are the pop culture/George Romero zombie. In fact I’d have to say I’m more in favor of the other types of zombies myself. Zombification through parasites or supernatural forces are far more interesting to me than the “Done to Death” viral zombies.
Whatever’s going on with these poor mutant/zombies sure seams to have a Lovecraftian bent to it. I thoroughly approve and I’ll put this on my list of must check out movies.
Dead Shadows tells the terrifying story about a young man, Chris, whose parents were brutally killed 11 years ago, on the same day that tHaley’s Comet could be seen from earth. Tonight, a new comet is going to appear and everyone in his building are getting ready for a party to celebrate the event. There’s even an apocalypse theory going around. As the night falls, Chris starts to discover that people are acting strange – and it seems to somehow be connected to the comet. People are becoming disoriented and violent and it doesn’t take long before they start mutating into something from beyond this world. In a fight for survival, Chris has to try to escape from his building with the help from some other tenants – but will they make it out alive?
To hold you over till the comic starts up again on Monday. I found these. I was amused.
Zombies can only concentrate on one single thing.
Humans are horribly cruel to the undead. Bad humans, bad! Leave poor zombies alone, till they eat you.
And he finally snaps…. sadly not a real gun, but I’m proud of the zombie taking up fire arms to destroy the oppressive humans.
