Official trailer for Helsinki International Film Festival 2010.
The Story of a zombie, turning into a man. He goes on a journey to find a mystery-woman he saw in a disturbed video clip….. And then he makes out with her.
I see this as proof positive that the desire to make out can bring people back from undeath, and give them the strength to overcome incredible odds as long as there’s a cute blond at the end of it.
Seriously though, I like the sets for this short film, very apocalyptic. And the zombies going about their daily lives is particularly awesome to me.
Yeah crazy scientists, betrayal, zombies, stupid humans about to get themselves killed. This is everything you need to have a great zombie flick.
Synopsis:
Planet Earth is ravaged by a strange disease that turns people into mindless murderers. As civilization struggles to survive, a small team of US Navy SEALs must protect a doctor from the Center for Disease Control on a mission to evaluate the claims of an erratic scientist who may have discovered the secret to mankind’s salvation. Starring DB Sweeney, Gary Graham and Doug Jones.
Acting is still a bit weak though. If I was that scientist guy and I found out that other guy had been “boinking” my wife, I wouldn’t be so calm about it… I’d have fed him to the zombies…. slowly.
But admittedly I a terrible terrible person. Maybe he’s better than me.
Oh Man!.. Now I want to fight him. You think your better than me, scientist guy?!!!
This made me laugh as trying to get away in your car is always a concern when it comes to Zombie Survival. See the first ten minutes of Tom Savini’s remake of “Night of the Living Dead” for a good example. Poor Barbara.
However, after watching this I can tell you that it’s patently unfair. The girl is clearly ahead of the zombie, gets the door shut, and then for no reason the zombie apparently teleports behind her and finishes her off.
You can’t beat teleporting zombies no matter how nifty your car is!!! It just can’t be done.
Zeke’s Zombie Emporium zombie rental made me giggle…. also the casual cruelty to one’s friends (I’m not a very good person, I feel shame)
Second part of the “Stiff Competions” commercials. Ahhh Jason and Leah’s love continues to grow. So special… So sweet.
These make me giggle (in a manly way) I love the idea of people just getting on with their lives after becoming zombies. That’s pretty much the whole theme of my comic. So I get a real kick out of clips like this.
Love and Dating during the zombpocalypse, it’s so beautiful. I’m so happy when earnest deserving undead meet each other and fall in love. Zombie dating is something we’re all going to have to consider when the inevitable happens. Ahhh zombie love… I promised myself …I wouldn’t cry.
