It’s criminal that I haven’t drawn George Romero as a zombie yet. Had to rectify that…. and it’s fun to do something mildly serious now and again. So a portrait of him both before and after zombification seemed like a fun idea.

I watched a awesome documentary about zombies the other day. Made me appreciate how much we all owe Uncle George. I say that with the full knowledge that I lambasted his latest movie “Survival of the Dead” (He may punch me one day for that)

Well I can’t take that back, it really was a horrible movie. I can however say that I recently watched “Land of the Dead” again. The first time I saw it, I didn’t care for it, but seeing it again I can truthfully say I liked it. It wasn’t scary, you feel more sorry for the zombies than afraid of them. But on a second viewing I was entertained and would recommend it.

I’ll have to review that.

I was looking around for more tutorials on how to zombify yourself with photoshop and found this video tutorial.

Pretty nice, he uses a whole bunch of splatter and textured paintbrushs, which is something that I haven’t done. I think I’ll start though.

This should come in handy while I’m making zombifying my kids pictures…. I’m a good dad.

Wow, I thought Rosie O’Donnell was horrible to look apon when she was alive, but after this….. You know what? No…. Actually I think this is an improvement. It’s like the her outer self matches her inner self now.

Can’t believe I missed it but it seams Zelda Rubinstein has passed away. Some of you may remember her as the super creepy psychic from the movie “Poltergeist.” That is a movie that is very near and dear to my blackened and decayed heart.

I loved “Poltergeist” it was one of the movies that created in me a lifelong love of all things scary. I’ve heard rumors that they would be remaking it, but without Zelda Rubinstein’s performance I can’t see it being any good. She was awesome.

I love “The Onion.” Just about Peed myself watching this. If the Republicans Brought Ronald Reagan back as an inhuman monstrous zombie I would totally vote for him….. I love zombies.
