It’s been a while since I did some concept art for “Left 4 Dead”

I can only assume that “Left 4 Dead 3″ will be coming out eventually and out of the goodness of my heart I am offering this superb concept art to Valve free of charge.

I know what you’re thinking, “But, Carter, your work is sublime and literally a shaft of heavenly light continually shines upon it’s perfection, how can you simply give such pure awesomeness away?”

The answer to that is simple… I am all about the love and very likely completely hopped up on caffeine.

However if Valve would like to hire me to reward me for my tireless and wholly unsolicited work who am I to say no.

Seriously, Valve, I won’t say no.  Hire me and we will be bestest friends.

Say hello to MINIMUM Wage!!! Yes, I make poor life choices.

I’m not against tattoos…. I am, however, against butt ugly tattoos.

It’s just my opinion and feel free to disagree with me that people should get the approval of a panel of designers and other “Sober” people before being allowed to permanently scar their bodies for life.  No good comes of a decision made after a weekend of heavy drinking.  I’ve seen some tattoos that are pretty awesome…. these are not them.

I liked the zombie tattoos (In theory), but be warned if you click that link you will see tattoos so terrible and poorly thought out it will melt your brain.

Plants Vs Zombies 2: Electric Boogaloo

I was playing Plants Vs. Zombies with my daughter last night and had the urge to draw some concept/fan art for Plants Vs. Zombies 2.

Usually I like games with an incredibly high body count an copious amounts of blood (Like Monopoly, but with Razor blades!), but for some reason I find this game extremely addictive.

Photoshop Zombie Tutorial: Cristina Ricci

I was looking around for more tutorials on how to zombify yourself with photoshop and found this video tutorial.

Pretty nice, he uses a whole bunch of splatter and textured paintbrushs, which is something that I haven’t done. I think I’ll start though.

This should come in handy while I’m making zombifying my kids pictures…. I’m a good dad.

3 Minute Zombification in Photoshop.

I was looking around for a couple of tutorials on photoshoping people as zombies and found this.

Sure the original photo of the kid is already horrifying, but I thought this was well done. All except for the annoying screen recorder text over the whole thing. Nice music though.

Medieval Zombie

Holy Crap! (Can crap be holy? Weird expression) I almost forgot to make some blog posts for today. Sorry about that, I’m working on designing some posters right now and this just about slipped through the cracks.

So far I have yet to miss a single day’s posting on my blog since the beginning of the year. Can’t break my streak now! I mean I have more than five people checking this sight out now, If I missed a day they might hurt me. And me being all soft and doey, I’m afraid I’ll scar.

I simply can’t break the hearts of all the ladies out there… (If my wife reads that, it’s a joke woman! Take your lawyer off of speed dial. Geez!)

So I dug up some zombie illustration I did for a Role Playing game. I was pretty proud of it so I thought I would share it (Especially since no one bought that game, this may be the only place anyone will EVER see it).

Believe it or not this is a self portrait, I did a lot of posing in front of a mirror to get the pose right. Wow I do goofy things.
