MADNESS! I don’t know how I missed this. “Revelation Trail” The full length trailer.
I’m interested in seeing this movie so I check up on it every once in a while. Cowboys fighting zombies, that is the best.
On a sidenote I know this movie is filmed in Kentucky, but it sure looks like Utah…. Well the nice parts of Utah anyway. The further south you go in this state, well lets just say… “I hope you really like red dirt and the occasional tree that looks like it lost a bet with God, because that’s what you’re getting.”
Pretty cool new trailer for the zombie/western mashup “Revelation Trail.” Really looking forward to this movie.
You know what? Somebody needs to go back in time and get Clint Eastwood to do a spaghetti western with zombies. I would have loved that. I’ve seen all those old westerns. If it had Clint Eastwood or John Wayne in it, I’ve seen it.
Add some zombies to those movies and you’ve got a recipe for awesome!
According to their website…. Revelation Trail is being called “A collaborative effort of filmmakers, artists and web talent from around the country, each contributing their own experiences and strengths to tell the story of the undead rising in late 19th century America.”
Okey dokey! or YEEEE HAAAAAA! If that makes you feel better.
I do loves me some zombie mashups weather it’s a bunch of awkward British people or Set in “The Old West”… Everything goes better with zombies. This trailer actually looked pretty good too. No retarded gore, or crappy acting by some wanna be actress/stripper. This looked like the people involved were actually taking this seriously. That’s a nice change of pace from the usual crappy low budget zombie gore fest.
“Revelation Trail” might actually be good.
Synopsis
In Revelation Trail (film), a frontier preacher’s life is destroyed when a gruesome power consumes the land; he now must make the choice to give in to ruin, or find his purpose in the fight against the mysterious undead. Joined by the town lawman (a man with entirely different demons) the two men learn the extremes they’re willing to go to make it to the next day and the depths people will go to when they truly believe in something.
I’m pretty sure I’ll be picking up a copy of “Revelation Trail” when it comes out.
