I like the idea of the zombie apocalypse being caused by something OTHER than a virus. Being caused by Interdimensional Metabolic parasites isn’t a new idea, but it’s different from the usual …”Ooops it’s a virus,” zombie.

Synopsis:

Planet Earth is ravaged by a strange disease that turns people into mindless murderers. As civilization struggles to survive, a small team of US Navy SEALs must protect a doctor from the Center for Disease Control on a mission to evaluate the claims of an erratic scientist who may have discovered the secret to mankind’s salvation. Starring DB Sweeney, Gary Graham and Doug Jones.

Though the end of this episode of Universal Dead has me perplexed. Angela goes from being a zombie to being a vampire? (That’s probably an upgrade for her) Okay sure, but who did her hair? Suddenly she’s got a new doo?

So let me get this straight, don’t try to cure the zombies, if you do they turn into smart vampires with nice haircuts. Got it.

I can’t wait till the next episode so I can figure out what the crap just happened.
