The plot thickens, I’d write more about today’s comic, but holy crap it’s late, and I’ve been working on the roof so I’m…. Itchy, smelly, cranky… Kinda like a zombie myself (Only I’m devastatingly handsome and have fewer flies crawling over me).
Also since I got my pen back this comic took way less time to draw in illustrator. That fills me with joy.
…I lied. I have more flies.
Lovecraft gets stuck with the “Crabby” friend… What’s the worst that could happen?
Okay, sure she could actually be some sort of horrible monster, but Lovecraft’s a zombie. He can take it right?
In which our hero, Lovecraft, gets a job as S-Mart to pay off his taxes.
Fortunately for him the quality of your average “S-Mart” employee is quite poor.
BTW if you get the “S-Mart” reference, consider yourself awesome.
Do you see Lovecraft there in the left panel. That’s how I look every stinking morning. And I don’t have the excuse of being a zombie YET.
I hate mornings sooooo much, it takes me about an hour every morning to stop swearing and wishing everyone on this planet was dead. In fact it’s a good thing it takes me so long to get to work. By the time I get there I’m almost ready to be civil.
I’ve had to make some adjustments in my family life to accomodate my hatred of mornings. I make sure I either wake up well before my wife or I separate myself from the family every morning, to do otherwise would certainly lead to divorce. That would be very bad… I would miss half my stuff.
And now you have three zombie Losers living in the same house. I’m sure this can’t go wrong in any way. Well on the positive side you can’t kill whats already dead right.
And this is how the Richard Moon character joins the cast of my happy little webcomic. Good for him. I’m sure he and Lovecraft will get along splendidly… or they will probably keep trying to destroy each other fooooorrrreeeevvvveeeerrr. I like this character, I envision him as kind of what the “Newmen” character was to “The Sienfeld Show.”
He should be happy. When your nose falls off you no longer have to worry about the vast amounts of terrible smells out there. Personally I envy him….. Not so much the rotting flesh, the Rigormourtes, and craving for human flesh, but not being able to smell things sounds great.
I hate that I have an extremely good sense of smell.
Some of the sketches I’ve been working on for the upcoming Cast page of the Webcomic. These were digitally inked with Illustrator. Really liking the way illustrator makes my line art work. I’ve always had a slight tremmor in my hands, with illustrator I can set the smoothing of my lines to compensate. It makes my linework much smoother and helps me be faster.
With any luck some day this will be a five day a week webcomic. Wouldn’t that be nice.
