I found this picture of a Papercraft “Elder Thing” from H.P. Lovecraft’s Novella “At The Mountains of Madness” over at Propnomicon. It was so cool I had to share it.
I’m a huge fan of H.P. Lovecraft and of this this story in particular. I pray everyday the Guillermo Del toro actually gets to make “At the Mountains of Madness” into a movie.
I need to see that. I need it bad.
In the meantime, I want you all to know I have a project where I am designing papercraft zombie versions of my characters to give to you all as free downloads. Just some extras to say thanks for putting up with the chaos my move and remodeling are causing with the webcomic. Should be done with some soon.
I love you guys….. oh yeah in that creepy creepy way too.
Creepy cartoon created by Eldrich Animation and based of the story “The Statement of Randolph Carter” written by H.P. Lovecraft.
I really enjoy creepy cartoons for some reason. This one was very well done so I have to share it with you. Nice animation, voice acting, and has a great mood. This is worth your eyeball time.

An animated short by Michael Granberry, based on the short story of the same name by H.P. Lovecraft.
One of my favorite stories by the great and powerful H.P. Lovecraft. For some reason “From Beyond” is the one story of his that I could never get out of my brain (No pun intended). I found this animated short based on it and had to put it up.
Sure it doesn’t have anything to do with my zombies webcomic, but H.P. Lovecraft is a very close second love of mine and as I’ve said, this webcomic very nearly was based on H.P. Lovecraft’s stories and not zombies.
Give it a look, it is worth your precious eyeball juice.
From Image Comics comes “The Strange Adventures of H.P. Lovecraft #1″ which comes out April 8th. This four part mini-series Written by Mac Carter, Art by Tony Salmons and Covers by Adam Byrne, comes out April 8th, 40 pages.
It’s been a while since I collected comic books. I just got frustrated with paying increasingly high prices for what felt like less and less interesting stories and art. This comic, however, looks like it might tempt me back into the fold. I do loves me some H.P. Lovecraft.
Do you ever go to youtube for something, then find so much awesomeness that you can’t contain it all…. Even with superglue. Yeah that’s happened to me this week. I was looking for one thing about the Necronomicon and found all these other goodies that I’ve had to share.
Hope you don’t mind, but I guess it’s just an H.P. Lovecraft kind of week, and so I’m raiding YouTube for content. At least I admit I have a problem, that’s the first step in getting help right?
