This is a great interview with Gareth Edwards, the Indie film maker behind “Monsters.” “Monsters” will be coming out this fall.

I really liked what he said about being able to make films these days, the cost if done right comes way down, which opens the doors to way more creators.

Sometimes I feel Hollywood is insane, they spend millions on movies that have the crappiest stories. It’s refreshing when someone shows up and makes an amazing film for very little.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Gareth Edwards Monsters, will be such a movie.

This looks sooo good…. I love monster movies. As a genre new monster movies tend to be few and far between. I have high hopes for this one.

Synopsis:

The earth was invaded by aliens six years previously and that the main characters are a journalist escorting an American tourist through an alien infested zone of Mexico back to the safety of home. All other details are being kept very hush hush.

Looks like they are keeping the creature designs very quite, but dang they know how to make me interested in a movie. I already want to watch this badly.
