Here’s the last of the character sketches I did back when the webcomic might have been about cute Universal monsters. Thankfully I went with zombies, even more thankfully they aren’t cute.
All that cuteness might have killed me after a while.
Before I started “The Zombie Nation” I was going to do a serious comic about Cthulhu. Ultimately I decided I could keep a zombie themed webcomic going far longer than one about H.P. Lovecraft’s works.
Not that I might not do it eventually. When I can do the comic fast enough, I plan to have a serious comic running on Saturdays. But that’s a long ways off, and I’d like my art to be better before I start that, and I want to do more research so I don’t come off as an idiot… well more of an idiot.
I drew a concept drawing of Cthulhu’s head and one of the “Deep One’s” and decided to post it today.
