Jason Voorhees, who I still maintain is super zombie finds love in today’s comic. Aaaaaw isn’t that adorable? Yes, yes it is.

Now Jason didn’t spend a heck of a lot of time devouring people’s brains like a typical Romero zombie would, but as you can see from this very helpful info-graphic, that guy had an incredibly impressive body count.

For some reason Jason seamed to hate it when teen-agers made out.  It’s still my theory that he was repressing “The love that dare not speak it’s name” and that Vorhees would have been more comfortable in San Francisco rather than Crystal Lake, but I could be wrong.

I’m just saying Jason Voorhees sure didn’t approve of making out with girls overly much.

I Miss 80′s Horror Movies

Jason Voorhees is such a prude!

The worst thing you could ever do if you were stuck in a 80′s horror movie would be to start “making out” with a girl. That was a sure fire death sentence.

Especially with a certain repressed Super zombie (Cough!) Jason Voorhees! (Cough! Cough!) running around.

I miss those horror movies from my childhood. Here’s some helpful advice for surviving a 80′s style horror movie… Should you be magically transported into one. It could happen.

1. Never get nekid. Monsters love killing people in the shower. Besides being smelly won’t kill ya, but an ax through your spine will.
2. Never be a minority. Apparently in the 80′s only really pale people survived monster and serial killer attacks. (Be safe, never even get a tan as monsters are racist apparently)
3. Only the two prettiest people are going to survive so if someone is better looking than you you are going to have to kill them… It’s self defense at that point.
4. When staying in a haunted house don’t split up…. Leave!
5. As mentioned before, I don’t care how hot your girlfriend is, don’t “kiss” her. Little known fact: monsters and serial killers hate overt displays of affection (That’s my new theory)

There are more helpful tips I’m sure. Anyone got anymore?

“Monster Squad” to be given a remake… Because Hollywood loves the 80′s

It's official Hollywood is remaking everything from the 80's

If you grew up in the 80′s, and I did, then this movie is probably on your list of most beloved movies ever. Well Hollywood is determined to remake everything from that decade so prepare yourself for it now. “Monster Squad” is going to be remade. Just like everything else from the 80′s is being remade it seams.

Didn’t Hollywood already try to remake this movie, calling it “Van Helsing?” …Yeah they did and it sucked.

Somebody better put a body guard over Ronald Reagan’s tomb before some Hollywood exec with a shovel tries to “Remake” him.


Deadline.com reports

EXCLUSIVE: Paramount Pictures is remaking the 1987 film The Monster Squad. Rob Cohen, who produced the original, hopes to direct the remake. Cohen will produce with Platinum Dunes partners Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form, and they’re meeting with writers.

A group of kids who worship the classic monsters suddenly discover that Dracula is in town, and he’s got his pals Frankenstein, The Wolf Man, The Gill Man and The Mummy with him. The kids must stop their efforts to find an amulet that will give the creatures control of the world. Sounds a bit cheesy, but the film is beloved by fanboys.

I thought this was awesome. It also proves once again that you don’t need a big budget and bouncy chicks to make something highly entertaining. You simply need clay and a disturbing amount of free time

… I would assume bouncy chicks would be optional.
