Zombie General Discussions / Zombie Games
« on: October 24, 2011, 07:55:16 AM »
With Halloween approaching the casual game sites have seen an influx of zombie and other horror related games. Of course there is the now classic Plants Vs. Zombies, but I thought I would make a thread for some other games that were free to play online, download, or demo that related to zombies.

The first one is a strategy type game. There isn't much action and it's really slow, yet somehow addicting. I ended up staying up until about 3 am with it one night. http://www.funny-games.biz/online-game-rebuild-2.html

Seems I'm always sending links to fun gift ideas, usually zombie related. So why not a thread for it. Save the inbox a little at least. The first one is a sweet one for your wife.

I'm not sure if you meant video games to go in this section or not. It looked like the best place at the time. Let me know if you want talk of games elsewhere.

Anyway, me wants  http://www.fearnet.com/videos/b23610_rise_of_nightmares_red_band_trailer.html

General Discussion / Lovecraft Documentary
« on: September 07, 2011, 02:06:30 AM »
While not strictly zombie, I know how much everyone loves H.P. http://www.fearnet.com/news/holiday_shopping/b23754_gift_guide_lovecraft_fear_of_unknown_dvd.html

"...director Frank H. Woodward (The Splat Pack: A Wyrd Documentary) has put together what could be the definitive documentary on the horror pioneer. And Woodward's enlisted all the right people to offer their take on the man and his work, including disciples like John Carpenter, Guillermo Del Toro, Neil Gaiman, Stuart Gordon, and Ramsey Campbell; as well as historian S.T. Joshi, probably the leading Lovecraft expert in the world today. "
