I heard a dull wail outside, and by looking from the upstairs window, saw a lone zombie just, standing there, by the front door, leaning against it slightly, barely moving, just moaning and standing there.

CAD comics are great, i love them, and they do this fun thing every now and again, where its a choose your own adventure, that would work great with the forums
you could have like a zombie infestation, and you choose where they go
