#TheUndeading is a pretty cool commercial. I won’t spoil the end of this, but it made me laugh…. and think. Nice way to get your point across in an entertaining way.

What do you get when you cross the zombie apocalypse with Madmaxesque Australian dudes… Wyrmwood that’s what. I may have to give them some of my precious money because I just love the idea of using the zombies as a source of fuel.
Kind of a cool idea, it makes the zombies both a hazard and a resource at the same time.
And now a word from these fine upstanding gentlemen who are trying to make the world a better place through zombie media.
About two years ago my brother and I came up with the idea to meld Mad Max with Dawn of the Dead and make the best zombie film ever produced in Australia. Cut to now and we’re about a third of the way through the film and still going strong.
We’ve assembled a cracking cast & crew of disgustingly talented actors, filmmakers & make-up artists who are all working their guts out in order to deliver a piece of ‘Oz-ploitation’ cult cinema that will sit easily next to the likes of Evil Dead, Bad Taste & 28 Days Later …
Head on over to their site here and throw money at them so I can see this movie made.
Racist Zombies leaving the black man alone. Damn you intolerant racist zombies! (shakes fist at the heavens)
You would think that in this day and age when you are thinking of which human you want to tear apart and eat that skin color wouldn’t be a factor. I for one am deeply saddened by this.
On the plus side I’m 1/16th black, do you think that would be enough for the zombies to leave me alone?
Probably not, as I am hideously pale.
Zombie Toddlers Will Kill Us All! I’ve been warning people about this dread peril for years but to no avail. This short film is called “Tears” by David Altobelli and Jeff Desom, with a score pulled from HEALTH’s original soundtrack to ‘Max Payne 3′ from Rockstar Games.
I find this zombie music video both creepy and oddly beautiful. I don’t know what that says about me and I choose not to think about it.
The important thing to take away from this is that one: this is some pretty cool music set to some pretty trippy imagery. And two: when the zombie apocalypse finally comes there’s going to be a lot of undead kids running around or crawling as it were.
I’ve seen a lot of zombie movies over the years and I can truthfully say that I’m pretty desensitized to adults getting eaten by hordes of the living dead. Zombie toddlers though… That gets me.
Probably because I have an eight year old daughter who I desperately hope she has a better and more successful life than I do. The idea of her as a zombie toddler gives me the sadness. Now when she’s an adult I’ll proudly inform her that she can become a zombie all she wants and wander the blasted earth relentlessly hunting the living for their precious organs.
But she’s going to have to grow up first before I’m cool with that “Life Choice.”
Zombie Nibble – Jesse Rhodes What do you do when the smok’n hot girl you have convinced to date you gets turned into a zombie? Do you give up?… Hell no!
Attractive women willing to give you the time of day is a rare find for nerdy guys, you can’t let a silly thing like the zombie apocalypse separate you too. I like the story behind “Zombie Nibble” and I salute the dedication Bob brings to the relationship despite overwhelming adversity. Sadly at the end you give in and decide you join your beloved in her zombie state, but she was a pretty cute zombie so we’ll forgive you.
Also I think at this point I have to acknowledge that I may have a slightly unhealthy fascination with zombie love stories. Weird elements of a doomed romance, global tragedy, and a dash of comedy to make it all more palatable are oddly compelling for me. I can’t help it.

This is a zombie love story. After their first kiss, Kaylee is bitten and is now a zombie. Bob, still human, is trying to date Kaylee.

Earth Angel cover I recently for the Great And Powerful David Butler. This is for his “Rock Band Fights Evil” series which I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to do the covers for. Dave is a really cool guy who writes an incredible amount of kickbutt books. I’m kinda envious of that actually.
Earth Angel is available for purchace here from Amazon and I can tell you that it is worth your precious eyeball time.
Synopsis for Earth Angel
Raphael was meant for better things.
He is an archangel, after all. It was he who cast out Qayna, the first murderess, and inscribed on her flesh the name of her brother Abil that embodied her deathless curse. It was he who formed the Sons of Light, and it was he who was set to watch over Azazel in the well of his imprisonment in Dudael.
And now, a failed rebel, Raphael wanders the heavy earth alone. The Sons of Light find him, though, and offer him another chance. Raphael is to Bear the Word again, to call the first prophet in centuries.
Can Raphael find the appointed prophet? Can he reach him, across apocalypse-torn America? And when he does find his man, imprisoned by the Fallen Kokhabel, can Raphael and the new prophet both survive?
Earth Angel is the seventh installment of Rock Band Fights Evil, a pulp fiction serial by D.J. Butler.
