Cool Dead Rising 3 Trailer. This doesn’t show even a lick of gameplay from the upcoming zombie survival horror game, but honestly I could care less. That is one heck of a CGI short. Honestly why do these people bother making games. They should just make feature length CGI movies.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m looking forward to Dead Rising 3 as much as the next zombie obsessed nerd, but dang. You’ve got to check this out. This “Trailer” for Dead Rising 3 is worth your precious eyeball time whether you are into video games or not.

Swiped some details from Wikipedia on the game.

PDead Rising 3layers control new protagonist Nick Ramos, searching for supplies and crafting weapons while traveling around the city of Los Perdidos in order to fight the undead and complete missions. Dead Rising 3 is set in a vast, open world environment which is reportedly larger than the worlds of Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2 combined. Players retain the ability to modify weaponry from Dead Rising 2, but without the need for a workbench, and will be able to discover and unlock blueprints for new items. Unlike the first two games in the series, Dead Rising 3 does not feature a time limit. Players will also be allowed to save their progress anywhere, as opposed to limiting saves to bathrooms. The game will include a “Nightmare Mode” for those who prefer the traditional timer. According to Capcom, the game will not have load times. Driving vehicles will be “a critical part of exploration” as players traverse Los Perdidos and scavenge for items.

Dead Rising 3 is scheduled for release in November 2013 on the Xbox One. Xbox One? Ah damnit. That may mean I’m out of luck for a while. I’m not exactly itching to run out and buy an Xbox One when they come out. Not with Microsoft being such creepy control freaks with their hardware.

I love my Xbox, I really do, but I’ll have to see some game play footage of Dead Rising 3 before it temps me into that kind of commitment. I hate exclusive titles on games.
