It’s that time once again to make and then promptly break your New Year’s Resolutions. I think this year I’m going to go with.
I want to crush my enemies, to see them driven before me, and to hear the lamentations of their women.
That sounds positive.
Every time I fly I always have this weird urge to start messing with security. I know that would be a terrible idea and the best I could hope for as a result of my actions would be to go to jail where I’m sure I’d be traded for a pack of cigarettes.
Never the less that self destructive urge is in me every time I travel. I am afraid that one day I’ll crack. In fact I’m sure of it.
The Walking Dead Christmas special is the best walking dead parody I’ve ever seen. Thanks to Ladybell for sending me this it made my holiday just a little bit better. 
When people tell me that the Magic was inside me all along. I always assume that they mean Necromancy. That would explain all the evil.
Well, I hope you all had a good Christmas. Mine went well and no one died a painful death so that’s positive. My house is now slightly more full of useless pieces of plastic that my children think are awesome for some weird reason.
I got an entire month’s worth of fresh socks for which I’m pretty happy. I submit to you that there is no greater pleasure in life than a brand new pair of socks. I swear by almighty Cthulhu that if I ever become rich my one single ridiculous expenditure will be to buy so many socks that I will NEVER wear the same pair twice.
That’s what I call motivation to succeed.
I am still bitterly disappointed that the Mayan Apocalypse turned out to be nothing. I am however incredibly amused at hearing about all the people who stupidly drained their bank accounts because they thought the world was going to end.
These dummies suffering is a source of much holiday joy for me.
Anyway, have a great Christmas everyone. The main comic story is going to start picking up again Wednesday.
Soooo, you all enjoying the zombie apocalypse? Everyone having a good time with all the rivers of blood, fire and brimstone…. hails of frog……. NO???? That’s because the Mayans are jerks and there’s no ultimate doom awaiting us all. I am disappointed.
I live in Utah and I can tell you that it’s part of the culture here that there is a belief that the apocalypse is coming in our lifetime. I’m not saying I believe that, it’s just what I’ve been told since I was a little kid. But preparedness and saving up a years food storage are topics of conversation I regularly hear.
Actually the fact that Utah is something of a blasted wasteland already and the survivalist cultural attitude here I believe this state is uniquely prepared for a zombie uprising. Not that we’re going to survive. Of course we won’t, it’s just that we’ll probably last longer than the other states. So the zombie apocalypse should be a good time.
Except that if you are reading this then once again NO ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE!
Damn you Mayans! How dare you give me hope for a blasted future filled with relentless hordes of the shambling dead forever hungry for human flesh.
Did you know that if you call your wife “White Devil” you are going to sleep on the couch? Weird right? It seams that “white devil” is not considered a term of endearment.
So my eight year old is learning about different holidays in school and was ecstatic too discover her own somewhat diluted African heritage as it gives her an excuse to celebrate Kwanzaa. To an eight year old (and apparently to a thirty-eight year old) more holidays equal more presents. So she wants to do them all. Sadly this just ain’t gonna happen as my credit cards are already pissed at me.
The beauty of my daughter discovering her link to the “Dark Continent” is that this kid couldn’t be more pale. She’s got red hair, blue eyes, and if you hold her up to the sun you can read through her. I live in mortal terror that a stray beam of sunlight will strike her directly and she’ll go up like a Roman Candle. I of course blame her “White Devil” mother for this.
By the way, nobody tell her I called her that again. It’s cold and lonely on the couch and being there fills me with the sadness.
