This is why I check the locks all the time

I can’t sleep if I don’t check the locks. I do it at least a dozen times a day, maybe more. Sure you could interpret this as obsessive compulsive disorder of some kind…. Or I could simply be preparing for the coming zombie apocalypse.

That’s how it always goes for these things. NEVER EVER let your guard down… well maybe for a second. ……ACCCKK! Now you’re a zombie.
That’s not OCD, it’s Forward Thinking. Preparing yourself for the inevitible. so when the Zombpoc happens you’ll be ready and able to survive that much longer than your neighbours… so you can take their cool stuff.

Apocalypses are made for looting.
Checking your locks also helps prevents getting robbed of all the cool neighbor stuff you just looted as well as all of your stuff. And your snacks.
Exactly. Looting is hard work, you don’t want your efforts to be wasted.
I’m more afraid of conservatives destroying my nation while I sleep than of zombies. I have a sensitive nose, and am very familiar with the smell of decomp. I’d smell the zombies before they got anywhere near me.
Heh I’m writing a story right now… one of the characters has a cold and can’t smell a damn thing. He’s happy because he can’t smell the zombies… but he’ll think it sucks when he walks around that blind corner.

To survive Zombocalypse rule number 1 to follow at all cost, avoid other people they’re the real danger
Most importantly, avoid the people who already own guns. They’re the real nutters.
A real man gets his firearms from the cold, dead hands of a corpse (create said corpse if necessary).
