Steampunk Zombies are awesome. I love the genres of zombies and Steampunk. Not just because they are their own thing, but also because they are modifiers for any other genre that just makes it better.
You want a western… add a few zombies two it. Or possibly a steam powered ray gun. You can’t really go wrong with that.
Anyway today’s Steampunk zombie drawing has been living in my sketchbook for a while and since I’ll be going to Steamfest at the end of the month I had a wild hair and decided to draw him up proper.
I think he came out alright. Take a zombie and add some pistons, a boiler, and a horrific metal arm and you’ve got yourself a winner.
And the top hat and aviator goggles even if they’ll never fly.
That’s right, time to get a speedo. Speaking of which, we need to go swimming Mr. Carter.
Not to mention the enduring stench of roasting zombie from the heat source for the boiler.
And what does the boiler use for fuel…. Methane from zombie gas. It’s the ultimate fuel source.
You need to go to steamfest as this. It needs to happen
And… if I remember right there is actually a roleplaying game that involves just that. Deadlands is like a western steampunk setting with zombies!
Deadlands was awesome. I’ve got the soundtrack they made for the game on my computer. Creepy music with old western sounds and themes in it.
Ive only played the table top roleplaying game not the video game but I have been curious about it
