The ZombiU – Announcement Trailer [UK] is here and looking pretty awesome. I don’t know enough about this game other than I’m irritated it’s a Wii U exclusive. What kind of crap is that? I’m sadly not buying it, but I’d still like to play this game.
I do like how this zombie trailer starts of with a calm establishing shot and then nicely rotates to show you the full awfulness of the situation. Also I was not aware that British Royal guards were badass zombie killers. Nice touch at the end as well.
It’s a very cool trailer for “ZombieU”, but what I’d really like is that if people can make trailers that look like this, or that look like the “Dead Island” trailer then forget the game and just make some CG zombie movies instead.
This is the second trailer I’ve seen for this game. The first was more of the game play. Damn that I have to buy a WII if I want to play it.
CG zombie movies would be amazing and need to be made.
There’s only the Resident Evil: Degeneration one to watch for CG zombies at the moment. They are doing a new one, but I haven’t seen it yet.
But if they can make trailers this good there’s no reason to be wasting your time on a Wii game, make me a movie I can obsess over and I’ll be a fan forever.
the british royal gaurds are speical trained military commandos they may look silly but they are extremly scary and you dont want to fight them at all
I did not know that. He was ripping that zombies head off like it was nothing though so I definitely don’t want to fight him. I can’t do that.
Cracked mentioned this one in an article I read today; it looks like you have to use the touch screen on the WiiU controller to change weapons (via a menu) and use items/interact with the environment. It seems that this requires you to look down from the monitor, while the game is still active – the undead are STILL advancing, while you’re looking away, trying to reload.
Hopefully it’ll be better once the new system launches around the Yule season.
I just can’t justify another Game platform to the wife. That’s why I hate exclusives. (sigh)
