The Innsmouth Look is something you find in H.P. Lovecraft’s Novella “A Shadow Over Innsmouth.” One of my favorite stories by the way. I love the idea of an entire town slowly changing into “Deep One’s.” Also don’t complain about spoilers, it’s not exactly a secret and the story was written in 1931.
I live in Utah, arguably one of the most landlocked states in the nation. You would think that large bodies of water wouldn’t terrify me. However, I can truthfully tell you that thanks to H.P. Lovecraft and movies like Jaws I am afraid of the ocean. There’s things in there! And they want to kill you.
Come to think of it in Max Brook’s novel “World War Z” it’s a bad idea to go swimming as zombies tend to hang around in the water. They just wonder around down there waiting to bite some poor sucker’s ankles…..
That’s it! I’m staying away from the water from now one.
In fact I’m not even going to bathe anymore. You can never be to careful. You’ll all just have to learn to enjoy my manly stink.

That is awesome! I especially love the fifth panel.
I’m calling that Innsmouth guy “Glurp” and I officially love him/her? I should make a doll of him/her/it.
Good idea to cut out the bathing… if you smell like the zombies then they won’t eat you…. this all depends on the zombie type of course.
Yes….. that’s why I’m not bathing anymore…. to blend in. Definitely not because of my incredible laziness. I’m sticking with that story.
And how long would that last before your wife handed you a pillow and blanket, telling you to sleep in the yard?
Man that hotel owner has a bad case of the innsmouth look. Its only a short matter of item before his family locks him up or he jumps in the ocean and stays there. Any chance we’ll see the old priest from the previous story arch or did he get eaten by an old one?
More of the H P Lovecraft Cthulu loving. A word to the wise though, there is a farmhouse just outside of town with an outhouse just behind it. DO NOT USE THE OUTHOUSE!! There is a demon trapped under the outhouse, and he gets really pissed if anyone does their business on him.
I always figured the safest place to hide from zombies would be on a well stocked boat. Afterall, they may walk along the bottom of a lake, but I’ve never seen them swim!
I don’t know, boats need gas, and constant attention. Plus if there’s a storm you may all die.
Also…. zombie sharks scare me.
