13th STREET – Bowlingheads (Case Video) from RUOK on Vimeo.
Some promotional stuff for Germany’s horror channel 13th street. You may remember them from some of their other work, namely that really awesome zombie stationary. These guys do some great stuff stuff.
I’m sure there’s a fair amount of people out there who won’t like the subject matter, but you’ve got to admit, it’s really well done. I love stuff like this. It gives me the itch to start making weird stuff of my own. (Previously I thought that itch was some sort of nasty disease… I am relieved)
We designed special bowling balls together with famous spraygun artist Oliver Paass that look like cut-off heads. For more than three weeks he made detailed 360° layouts that were sprayed on standard bowling balls. In several German bowling alleys we swapped the standard balls for these special ones. Additional black balls referred to the German horror TV channel No.1
This last one is so morbid… I am amused.
I have a really long commute to my day job. Sometimes when I’m not “accidentally” getting in front of a speeding sports car and “accidentally” applying my brakes I like to make up stuff in my own head to entertain myself.
I find Haiku to be oddly entertaining for some reason. Please don’t judge these too harshly and if you’ve got some zombie poetry of your own I’d love to hear it.
My nose, it fell off
I can’t smell the sweet decay
It is for the best
Just aim for the head
You shout as you point your gun
That hurts my feelings
My head hurts so bad
Can’t believe that man bit me
I’m sure I’ll be fine

Okay I’m not going to win any awards, but that was very cathartic. I do, however, feel even nerdier than I did before. I’m cool with that though.

Again, out of the goodness of my heart I offer you more delightful concept art for your next installment of “Left 4 Dead.”
This drawing of a Zombie Hipster was lovingly crafted from puppy dog kisses and the joyful tears of a thousand moderately incontinent angels… So you know it’s got to be good.
Feel free to use this concept art in whatever way you see fit, and if perhaps you feel the need to pull up to my home in the worlds longest limosene and offer me a position at your company complete with a lavish salery and three beautiful cheerleaders to chant my name as I work…. Well, I can tell you that I wouldn’t turn that down.

Don’t punch me!
I scribbled this out for the amusement of a friend of mine. We discuss the difference between a furry (Attractive girl with cat ears) and a dangerously furry individual (It’s a lifestyle/fetish)
I’m not judging anyone, I just find this subject to be endlessly amusing
One day, I’ll probably be giving a lecture of my own about zombies. Considering how popular zombies are and how much people take this seriously it would be wise of me to really know my stuff.
Currently I’m reading a book all about how George Romero’s “Night of the Living Dead” was filmed. I know your shocked, but it’s true….. I do know how to read.
It’s my stated goal to become the world’s leading expert on zombies, the undead, and all things ghoul like. That’s one of the reasons I started my zombies defined project which I’m currently writing some articles for. Should be fun, check back soon and hopefully I’ll have more entertaining things for you to read about your favorite undead monstrosities.
And I’m not talking about Grandma.
REC and Quarantine are pretty much the same movie… No really they are basically the same. But it looks like there is going to be quite a difference between the sequels.
To be honest I like the looks of REC 2 though. That is some scary stuff right there. Quarantine 2 looks like “Snakes On A Plane”… with zombies. This is less than awesome.
