You’ll have to forgive the copy pasta in today’s strip. I’ve only had an hour to make this thing tonight and it was either this or no strip at all.
I know, I feel shame. But desperation makes you do crazy things. I’ll repent tomorrow and draw some wholly original zombies devouring the innocent….. mmmm cannibalism.
Well this is awesome, Capcom, those lovable scamps who keep bringing delightful zombie game after zombie game are releasing a new “Dead Rising 2″ this one will ask the question “What would Dead Rising 2 have been like with Frank West instead of Chuck Green.”
However it’s not a direct retelling of “Dead Rising 2″ it supposedly has a different story, tougher zombie bosses and Chuck green, the main character from the first “Dead Rising 2″ gets to be your partner. Frank West also brings his camera back to the game.
Now here’s the crappy part. It’s a full disk release and they want 60 smackers for it…… hmmmm Is this going to be a new enough game to justify the cost? Maybe if you haven’t played the first version of “Dead Rising 2″ otherwise seams like a bit of repackaging. To be honest I’m on the fence on this one. I need to know more.
Dead Rising 2: Off the Record is due out later this fall.
Watching this trailer… am I the only one who thinks Frank got a little bit chunky and wrinkly?
Sure this isn’t zombie related, but I don’t care because I love it soooooo very much.
The one hour season premier of Futurama will be June 23 at 10/9c.
I could not be more excited if you paid me…. please pay me. As you may know I’m a huge Futurama fan and even did a short series of illustrations of the Futurama cast in a Zombie apocalypse. Check them out. Futurama Undead!
Here’s the countdown page for more information on the new season.
In the name of all that is awesome, please somebody turn this into an actual movie.
I like the music from “Return of the Living Dead” on it, nice touch…. especially since the zombies look a lot like the infamous “Tar Man” from that movie.
I love this trend of making trailers for books. This one looks fun. “Warm Bodies” written by Isaac Marion.
I’m all about the sympathetic view point of the zombie. Tragic monsters doomed to wander the blasted Earth, forever hungry for the flesh of the living…. It’s…. It’s so sad.
About the book:
R is a man with an existential crisis—he is a zombie. He shuffles through an America destroyed by war, social collapse, and the mindless hunger of his undead comrades, but he craves something more than blood and brains. He can speak just a few grunted syllables, but his inner life is deep, full of wonder and longing. He has no memories, no identity, and no pulse, but he has dreams.
After experiencing a teenage boy’s memories while consuming his brain, R makes an unexpected choice that begins a tense, awkward, and strangely sweet relationship with the victim’s human girlfriend. Julie is a blast of color in the dreary and gray landscape that surrounds R. His decision to protect her will transform not only R but also his fellow Dead, and perhaps their whole lifeless world. Scary, funny, and surprisingly poignant, Warm Bodies is about being alive, being dead, and the blurry line in between.
