Alright so if a zombie bites you, prevailing wisdom says that you will become a zombie. That’s super, and I think it’s something that we can all support.
If a furry bites you do you become a furry? It’s not like they are werewolves or anything, but I like the idea that anything that bites you…. you have to become that.
Like the other day when I was bitten by a Vampire lesbian lumberjack octopus with psychic powers. I can’t wait to become one of those. Should be fun.
Center For Disease Control’s Zombie Plan

So I’m not sure if this it’s completely awesome that the Center for Disease Control has a zombie plan or unbelievably terrifying that they do.
I choose to fall on the side of awesome.
Okay so it’s kind of a humorous way to draw attention to people being prepared for actual disasters, but it’s the thought that counts. It is true that if you are prepared for a hurricane of some other natural disaster you will probably be that much better off if something crazy like a zombie apocalypse happens and vice verse.

Some of the supplies for your emergency kit.
So what do you need to do before zombies…or hurricanes or pandemics for example, actually happen? First of all, you should have an emergency kit in your house. This includes things like water, food, and other supplies to get you through the first couple of days before you can locate a zombie-free refugee camp (or in the event of a natural disaster, it will buy you some time until you are able to make your way to an evacuation shelter or utility lines are restored). Below are a few items you should include in your kit, for a full list visit the CDC Emergency page.
- Water (1 gallon per person per day)
- Food (stock up on non-perishable items that you eat regularly)
- Medications (this includes prescription and non-prescription meds)
- Tools and Supplies (utility knife, duct tape, battery powered radio, etc.)
- Sanitation and Hygiene (household bleach, soap, towels, etc.)
- Clothing and Bedding (a change of clothes for each family member and blankets)
- Important documents (copies of your driver’s license, passport, and birth certificate to name a few)
- First Aid supplies (although you’re a goner if a zombie bites you, you can use these supplies to treat basic cuts and lacerations that you might get during a tornado or hurricane)
Now a very glaring omission from their site would that they didn’t mention zombie weapons, defense, fortresses, etc. That’s pretty critical information which I can only assume they will add to their site later.
When zombies take over, and they will one day. Will they have conventions? How about human walks instead of Zombie walks?
Human Cosplay? Or would that just lead to unfortunate incidents of accidental zombie on zombie violence.
I really want to go to a zombie convention. Looks like the closest I’ll be able to do though is April of 2012 when Utah hosts the “World Horror Convention” in Salt Lake City. That’ll be awesome.
Speaking of awesome. Check out this video clip with all sorts of juicy information on the upcoming game “Dead Island.” The more I see of this game the more excited I am. The couple of zombie concept art pictures are really good.
But what I really want to know is how is it different from “Left 4 Dead,” because till I know more it sounds awfully familiar. He briefly talks about an RPG element to the game and that sounds promising, but when he starts to describe a zombie boss which basically sounds like a boomer?…… k, No, really… how is your game different?
Zombies in bikinis don’t count.
I posted about the previous “Teaser” trailer for “Dead Island” and posted some awesome screen shots for this upcoming game.
Well there is a new trailer out for “Dead Island” and if you like to see zombies in a bikini (and who doesn’t) then it looks like this game is for you. Actually I’m really looking forward to this game. Most zombie games take place in a dark creepy environment that sets the mood for fear. This is going to be a bright sunny game so I’m interested in how they are going to make me afraid.
I guess they could show me how much a vacation to a place like this would cost me…. That would make me tremble in fear. Also… I’m not going to vacation in a place called Dead Island. The tourest board may want to rethink the title of their resort.
Maybe they could call it something pleasent like… Murder island, The island of doom, or possibly “The Island of a thousand painful Rectal probes.” That’s way better than “Dead Island.” That’s just not good business.
Here’s a synopsis about what the games all about, as if you need it. Zombies in a bikini! Nuff said, where do I give them my money now?
Set in an open world tropical island, hordes of different festering zombies await players around every corner while they embark on a variety of thrilling missions through the holiday resort. With firearms and ammunition being scarce the player must rely on utilizing found items as weapons for self-defense and fight off zombie hordes in intense melee combat. A diverse range of items can be collected and will later serve to transform the player’s ordinary makeshift weapons into serious instruments of destruction.

Sorry for the no comic today, unavoidable problems came up today and I couldn’t get it out. This sucks as I’ve been pretty good at not missing an update lately. Oh well tune in Friday for the next chapter in my zombies Vs. Furries epic. In the mean time I’ve found good news for you.

So your a Resident Evil fan right? And you think Milla Jovovich is smoking hot (And secretly loves me) well then this bit of good news culled from Destructiod will make you happy. They went through Milla’s twitter feed and found this.
So here’s the news. There is word that some of the movie will be shot in Tokyo. To be more specific, Milla says, “i LOVE tokyo! 1 of my FAVORITE cities in the world! we’re gonna come film some scens 4 the nxt RE in tokyo!!!”. There is also word on what the movie might be called — “no, its not called”begins”lol! it”began” 10 yrs ago! lol! i think its called RE: Retribution, but i have to ask paul 2 b sure.”
Interesting…. So another Resident Evil movie. I’d heard rumors of a new Resident Evil movie, but they didn’t know if Milla Jovovich would be back reprising her role.
That would be a shame as she is very pretty and I like the consistency of her character. So I’m pretty happy she’s going to be in it. I like her Resident Evil. Let’s not speak of the second movie, that was crap, but I’ve genuinely liked all the others. They are good popcorn movies. I just hope RE: Retribution lays off on the 3D. I’m starting to hate 3D.
