At Least Try To Make Your Lies Believable

I think I may have actually used this lie when I was a teenager.
I wish that was a joke. Sadly no. This is the point in my confession that I curl up in the fetal position and weep copious amount of tears.
I’m just about to the end of this story arc for the webcomic…. wow, it’s been too long. I’ll admit I’m still working on my writing and pacing for the strip. I’m looking forward to (Spoilers) getting Lovecraft out of the bucket. Admit it you didn’t see that coming, right?… right?

I thought up a joke one day in high school and just had to do it. Walked into class and started telling, a little loud so everyone could hear, about how the night before I ended up getting lucky with 2 different girls (not at the same time). Got really graphic. The friend this was for was captivated, jaw dropped and everything. half way thru I realized that the girls in the class were listening really carefully. At the end of the story, I knew I could count on my bud saying: “Really!?!?!?”.
When he did my response was: “NO, of course not, what the hell you think my life is a porno?”
The total shocked look on his face was priceless, wish I had a camera. That was also the first time I was told by one of the girls in class I should become a writer…. Who knew the gilrs in my high school were into porn… damnit I shoulda tried harder with some of them.
I’m not a jock or a player, I was ok with the ladies, went through my share, but nothing way out there. I couldn’t believe that a good friend was taken in by such a BS story. Still wish I had a camera.
He is living in Japan now (Reading the porn version of the Necronomicon I am sure.)
I’ll admit it, I am and always have been socially retarded. Whenever I get nervous (all the time) I just start cracking jokes and can’t stop. Makes it hard to be a ladies man.
To this day I’m completely floored that I’m happily married and have kids. Never thought that would happen in high school
Hmmm… the look on Romey’s face in the second panel looks extremely familiar. Nerds/geeks are notorious for being socially awkward/shy people. I usually have to fight to get what I want to say out before the subject is changed in a conversation just because I don;t like to interrupt people.(not that they don’t do it to me ALL the time)
I loved that joke.. the only problem is do zombies still have blood? either way good stuff!
Sure I think zombies could have blood. Why not, it’s funnier that way.
The zombies characters in the strip don’t follow George Romero’s rules. I think they follow webcomic rules, which pretty much means if it makes the joke funnier then they can do it. But if it’s funnier that they can’t do it the next day then suddenly they can’t.
The power of random, it is awesome.
I actually drew a robot once that said: “The power of RANDOM compels you! Resistance is futile!” It was on a piece of paper that several people from various art classes added to over the course of a week. I still have pictures of it at various stages. Much random stuff was drawn on said paper before it disappeared.
It disappeared because it became sentient. What you succeeded in doing was creating a new form of life that will one day return to wreak it’s bloody revenge on it’s creators.
Be afraid Fijiman, be afraid.
No, no, I’m sure that one of the little jack-offs who are ONLY in one of the art classes to mess with the computers or abuse the supplies took it or threw it away. That or the person who had started it took it.
Nope, think positive. They stole it because it’s pure awesomeness overwhelmed their law abiding instincts and they had to possess it.
Not it resides in their creepy basement an object of their adoration and guilt. They love it, yet it tortures them. Slowly driving them mad with conflicting emotions.
Soooo can you tell I’ve been reading some Edgar Allen Poe today?
