I do love giving Twilight fans a hard time, but even I have to admit this joke is pretty low hanging fruit.
Still… made me laugh so I did it anyway. Sue me. Besides I have to get this little zombie webcomic story going. I’ve got our heroes Romey and Moon searching the Nerd Shack for a way to help poor Lovecraft who seams to have spent an amazing amount of time in a bucket. That’s got to suck.

I sprayed my coffee all over my desk when I read this one. It is very funny. For a moment I wondered what it would be doing in that place. Then I realized, they would want them to learn about girls and how to role play sexy vampires… this is before all the nerds became sexy zombies of course.
The Nerd Shack by the Z-52s
The Nerd Shack is a little old place where,
We can play D&D together!
Nerd Shack Bay-bee
NERD SHACK BABY!
Nerd Shaack That’s where it’s at
Nerd Shaack That’s where it’s at
Rollin’ and Role Playin’
Sittin in a Tavern
She’s wearing next to nothin’
‘cuz your Charisma is 20!
Your rogue orders a Beer! Wooo!
He mouths off and the Barbarian spins him around
and around and around and around!
Everything is spinning, everyone is fighting
Goblins line up outside just to get knocked down!
Everything is flinging, Everything is flying, baby.
Funky little shack, Fun-ky little shack.
lol that is the most evil book every
Hector, I hate you!
I will have that song burrowing a hole into my head all day. Thanks
Aaaaaaahhh Now I can’t stop singing it. Hecter, what have you done to me?
This is when I curl up in the fetal position, singing that song of course.
It’s funny ‘cuz it’s true. I was in a comic shop last weekend and they were playing D&D.. They were in a tavern and the rogue had pissed off a group of barbarians and the bar brawl began. Reminds me of that D&D video about the evils of playing dungeons and dragons. Besides when the voices in my head start singing I must spread their words to all.
I want comic shops where you can play D&D “out in the open” in my country, too…
Sometimes the low hanging fruit is best like in this case. That was a great zinger.
Glad you guys liked it.
Last week I went to my Local Comic shop and they had some dude there playing D&D wearing a cape. Where do you buy a cape? Capes are us? Odd.
Nerd culture is very funny to me. Whenever I meet another nerd there’s always this weird moment where we are trying to determine the “level and type” of our respective nerdyness.
It’s always this weird moment of “Well I like D&D, you like D&D, but oh wait,… You’re a Pokemon ner. Sorry but we cant be friends. Now if you’ll excuse me I’ve got to go obsess over Battlestar Galactica for an hour.”
I don’t know if that explains it very well or not
I wonder if sports people have that problem. Not knowing a thing about sports I may never know.
Yes, the Twilight series is definitely one of the top 15 most evil books ever written.
Pros and cons of being in a bucket like Lovecraft is: Pros:doesn’t have to do anything, doesn’t need to worry about being shot; Cons: can’t do anything, can’t talk, could be easily left somewhere and forgotten.
I do so love giving Twilight fans a hard time. I don’t even hate the book. I think I just enjoy being a terrible person sometimes.
I’ve just started playing D&D. I have already learned it is not wise to push the only healer in the group down a flight of stairs to see if they are booby trapped.
It’s especially bad to push the person playing the healer down a flight of stairs. I’ve seen that too.
While funny, game day was over.
