When you’re kidnapped by your psychotic zombie ex-wife you have to expect a certain amount of discomfort… and stretching.
I’m a firm believer that pain is funny and other people’s pain is the funniest of all. Don’t believe me? How much money has the movie “Jackass 3d” made? A lot, that’s how much.
Note: I didn’t have time to obsessively scan every episode of Futurama when I wrote today’s webcomic so there is an outside possibility that it may share a line, maybe even two with an episode… somewhere. I assure you that I preemptively feel great shame over the matter and swear to commit ritual seppuku to atone for my great sin. (Pssst… no I actually wont do that)
Friday’s joke, however, will be 100% theft though. In fact I stole it from a little old lady whom I bludgeoned to death with a sack full of oranges.
<Edit> Reading this the next day… yeah….. Um…. Dang it! I’m kinda being an ass with that comment. I’m sorry, I feel bad now. I’ll be better.
I’d change the comment, but I promised I wouldn’t do things like that.

Don’t worry Moon, you’ll get yours soon enough. In a way, I feel sorry for Lovecraft; but in another, more potent way, I laugh at his suffering.
Imagine what it would sound like if Smegal said:”MY PRECIOUS RECTUM!”
Wait, she had oranges?
I guess Lovecraft will be able to make use of the super glue they said they were getting. I’m sure duct tape can hold his zombie cheeks together until the glue dries.
Any true comic will tell you that pure comedy is solely based on the pain of others (ie. the guy who falls through the open manhole…or, better yet…”You’re a mean drunk, Superman”…if you want to know either joke, just let me know)…I am a firm believer that the protagonist of any good story (in which this comis series definitely belongs) deserves a fair amount of pain/struggle (ie. Homers – Iliad and the Odyssey…Jesus in the New Testament, etc.)…Bring on the Nipple Twisting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I didn’t think of Futurama reading this. Instead I thought no wonder you are bitter about your ex and I wonder how much of that is fear. They say art draws from life….
I won’t lie and say Sheila’s insanity isn’t somewhat inspired by my ex. The difference being that Sheila has a love/hate relationship with Lovecraft, where as my ex just hates me.
Thankfully those days are behind me and now just a source of humor.
Pain + Time = Comedy (Just my opinion on that)
Just imagines getting that phone call and being the unfortunate guy that has to tell him he actually has the wrong number
