The often tragic love life (or Unlife) of Lovecraft continues in today’s comic.
He makes poor life choices.

For some reason I cant help but thinking that I liek the zombie girls better. Does that make me a necrophiliac? And if yes, do I have to find a way to get my girlfriend zombiefied?
The less i think about it the better…
Ok she shows cleveage but then shoots him when he asked to be her boyfriend, that reminds me of my first girlfriend, 2008 good year but painful
Cyrian, yes, yes it does. But technically anyone who thinks vampires are hot (Cough, Bella, Cough) is also a necrophiliac.
Matt, women are fickle, and sometimes love’s a hurt’n thing.
excellent, now I have another word to use to describe bella… not only is she neurotic, but she is also a necro! my wife’s gonna love this.. she is a huge twi-hard..
zombies are still better.. they don’t try to be something that they arent… but you seem to be doing a great job of that…. sexy zombies…
very nice my friend…
Miguel, please dont bring this up! Just this week I’ve seen a book caled “The Zombies” which is about sentient zombies who life in a secret society and a young girl is attracted to some good looking guy and… well the book doesnt tell more on the back but I glanced through the pages and I think those zombies are at least damned to always be hungry.
Still: Zombies arent sofisticated, period. I have already a hard tie accepting quick zombies.
Carters zombies are okay, I consider them plainly as comedy and therefore they may differ.
I am SO gratefull
But… but… I was trying to tell a heart wrenching drama with my webcomic. All about man’s inhumanity to man, unrequited love, and a touching coming of age story all rolled into one.
Wow, I suck a drama.
So much for the cease fire. Maybe Lovecraft will find someone to love who isn’t a nut job or something. However, because it is much more funny to see him in pain, I don’t think that will ever happen.
You don’t suck at drama, Carter, you just don’t care.
thanks for advice. now ill go down to the bar and ask out random women yeah and then fail
A girl with a gun, so hot. Erm, wait, I liked the girl zombie before showing all the cleavage. Oh boy, confused confused, necro or not, hot or cold, vaseline or natural. Hehehe, I just HAD to go there, still BOOOOOBIES!!!!
Hehe, well if I might wax philosophy for a moment, where are my pipe, bathrobe, armchair, fez, contemplating book and moustache…Ah, there we go.
First to Lonewolf, I think I can understand your attraction. See, most people look at zombies with a degree of disgust, but quite often a profound amount of pity. Zombies often look like they are hurt, lonely, different and sad. Add to that a light amount of physical decay, such as Carters version, it actually enhances the person’s beauty by making them seem vunerable and weak. Men naturally have an urge to protect women (more often than not to get them in the sack) so when there is in fact a decent chance of one being able to do that, his mind shifts into gears.
Now then, onto zombie boyfriends on a whole, I have too agree that is the general consensus. I did some….stuff, let’s call it for now, on World of Warcraft with a Forsaken character and managed to get a minimum amount of loving. I had to so often sell his tortured, sensitive side before the lady in question even saw him and got a chance to jump ship. It seems lathering him in sparkly grease might have done the trick as well.
On the subject of necrophilia, it is something of interest. Technically necrophilia is an attraction to dead bodies or death itself. Zombies are ‘un’dead so at a certain standpoint it isn’t necrophilia. Afterall, believable and ‘un’believable are to very different terms. Also, a recent thought I’ve come to to is that vampires from the ‘book series named in a lunar fashion despite that neither supernatural being in the book require to moon or night for actual safety’- they aren’t actually undead. From what I have gathered from friends who will not stop hounding me about the books, this is the process: you are bitten by a vampire, it poisons you with it’s saliva, your cells freezes and organs melt, body reconfigures, you do not rot or decay and technically never even died. Truly I would equate those vampires more to venomous rocks. All undead go through a phase, short as it may be where they are regular dead or at least appear it as best as I can tell (Rage zombies from 28 Days Later aren’t actually undead for example). As such I feel I am finally at peace with that sparkly vampire issue. In my mind they are not undead and I can find peace now that they do not haunt the tattered kingdom.
Oh, by the by Carter, I saw a fellow yesterday at work wearing the most wonderful shirt I’ve seen in ages. it seemed to be combat chart depicting three zombies as different distances away and this.
Vampire
___________ Zombie___________
l
Zombie l
l__________Zombie
l
Ninja l
___________ Ninja_____________l
Pirate
Apologies for the hodge podge diagram but I wonder if this is one of those shirts I noticed being promoted on the site before.
Tsapki, your chart makes no scene to me whatsoever. All I can get from it is that it somehow involves vampires, zombies, pirates, and ninjas.
Same here fijiman, my brains hurts.
I’ve seen that shirt Tsapki is talking about. It made me laugh.
Also “Sparkly Grease?” No, on second thought I don’t want to know.
Ugh, pardon, seems I didn’t get it right.
What is was suppose to mean was this
______________________________
Vampire vs. Zombie- Victor: Zombie
Pirate vs. Ninja- Victor: Ninja
Then finally: Ninja vs. Zombie- Victor: Zombie
______________________________
I have no idea if this was meant to be a fight scenario, I simply understood it as to which creature was just overall superior or cooler.
Could you post a link or something for us then? I would like to see this shirt.
The best I could do on moments notice.

Cool. I, however, would have made the end result be zombie ninjas.
