Boomer’s Day Off is a web mini-series based on the video game Left 4 Dead. This documentary follows the undead lives of Oscar the Boomer and his zombie colleagues, Sheila the Witch and Todd the Hunter.
“The Cursed” – The magic/curse zombie type
It was fun drawing this zombie type… and not just because I REALLY like drawing boobs. But I got to try a few different things with this zombie webcomic in illustrator that I normally don’t do.
Illustrator is a great program and I use it every single day. Sadly it doesn’t do all the nifty pixel manipulations that Photoshop does. Trying to make it come close is a fun challenge though.
When I go to scale up my webcomic I’m going to be very grateful I’m using it though.
… Anyway Still trying to work out my “Comic Style”… Wow that sounds pretentious doesn’t it? I feel shame.

This is pretty neat, “Plants Vs Zombies Pottery” from Popcap Games, the developers of the popular PC/iPod video game.
I take it this is to promote the $19.99 Limited Edition “Game of the Year” version of Plants vs. Zombies for PC.
The Limited Edition version of “Plants Vs Zombies” comes with a plastic zombie toy and an in-game tool, called the Zombatar, for creating your own zombies. (Cool, but I want this damned pottery)
“Plants Vs Zombies” is also coming to Xbox Live on September 8 and to the Nintendo DS in early 2011.
I’ll be picking this up for my kids as they think this game is hilarious.
