It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these. I wanted to start making more concept art comics for Left 4 Dead 3.
See, in my own warped brain, I firmly believe it’s only a matter of time before somebody at Valve sees some my super awesome concept art comics and realizes my genius and untapped potential.
Then I just wait till they swoop down to offer me a dream job….. And a huge raise….. and…. and…. Three cheerleaders to chant my name as I work.
Carter… Carter… Carter!!! Go Carter Go!
A man can dream. Anyway with “The Passage” having the bride zombie boss, I thought it was only fair to have a Groom version of a zombie boss.
Also, if my wife is reading this… I swear it’s only a joke! Oh Dear God! Please Don’t leave me!!!

She might not leave you, but may just help speed up the whole “Till death do us part…” process.
And for a quick side note: The zombies in The Land of the Dead suck ass (the actors i mean). Though Asia Argento does make up for it a bit.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
She just might kill me… Nah, my wife has a good sense of humor about my webcomic. Still she is a feisty redhead, it would not do to piss her off. I’m pretty sure she could take me in a fight.
“Land of the Dead” wow I haven’t seen that in a long while. The movie that first polarized Romero fans. You either hate it or you love it.
YAY, you were able to get a comic up today!
I’m as shocked as you are. Now if I could find my stupid Wacom Tablet pen! I know it’s in one of these boxes.
Maybe you put it in the same box as your kids… or the box labled “art stuff”… or maybe it’s right in front of you, right under some papers and stuff.
That’s possible. I better find it though, a replacement is $100. That’ll chaff something fierce if it’s lost for good.
My prediction is: 45% chance you’ll find it in some stupidly random place within the next week or two; 35% chance you’ll find it AFTER you buy a new one; and 20% chance that that thing is long gone.
Man, if I have to buy a new one, I’ll do it, but I’ll be pissed. It’s ridiculous how expensive those things are. It’s just a chunk of plastic. Probably costs a nickle for them to make and they want about a hundred bucks for one.
But they’ve got me, doing the comic with a mouse… kinda a pain. Ow well.
I agree with you there on both points. Over-priced, cheap plastic things are always annoying (especially when it’s something you need). And unless you know how, drawing with a mouse and making a decent looking picture without taking forever is near impossible.
I was forced to drag out the OLD graphire tablet till I can locate my pen. It does the job…. minus the love.
