Lovecraft gets stuck with the “Crabby” friend… What’s the worst that could happen?
Okay, sure she could actually be some sort of horrible monster, but Lovecraft’s a zombie. He can take it right?

An interesting article on the pros and cons of bringing an MMO to consoles, I thought it was interesting because the MMO they are trying to make is a “Zombie MMO.” You can see why that would be near and dear to my inky black heart.
I can’t really speak on MMO’s by themselves as I don’t play any (Damned kids needing attention taking up all my free time). But I did include a quote and a link to the entire article if you want to read it.
I hope they do come out with Zombie MMO, but if they do they’ve got to let people play as zombies and not just a bunch of lame survivors.
I know, you’ve heard this before. I know you are not impressed, because every time you hear this it either never happens, or you get a weak port of an otherwise excellent PC title that does not feel at all like a true console game, and then the publisher expresses amazement that it was not successful and blames the console platform. It happens every time, and now “they” are saying that FPS MMO games are just simply better suited to the PC, and that console developers should just give up and go build more Tomb Raider and Madden sequels.
We hear you, console fans. But this time it’s going to be different, because we are willing to chart a bold course and develop an FPS MMO specifically for consoles, which will allow us to take advantage of the unique features of the platform and give you a true console experience. The pundits still say we’re crazy, and that it will never work. I guess we’ll be able to look back in ten years and know who was right.
So, let’s talk about some of these “unique features” of a console FPS MMO…

So on a whim I went to Barnes and Nobles this weekend. While I was there the siren call of “Pride and Prejudice and zombies: The Graphic Novel” called to me. So for about fifteen bucks I picked one up.
This is my own little informal review of it, but I highly recommend it. The art is great, good line work, good writing.
The zombies are drawn really well too. It was illustrated by Cliff Richards, and adapted from the novel by Tony Lee.
I think the only thing I can think of that would have made this better would have been to include some concept art in the back.
Anyway, need sleep more later.
