Zombies with personality… A reality check.
on April 9, 2010 at 5:00 amPosted In: comics, Main Story
Sometimes I get asked silly questions. Like, why do your zombies noses fall off, why do your zombies have personalities, and why are you naked in my living room slathered in rancid pudding.
These are questions that have tested the mental fortitude of wise men and law enforcement officials for generations.

I get that a lot too with George. Some places have even said he’s not a “real” zombie due to the rules I break with him….
ugh.
Preaching to the choir, my man. It’s the old fast vs. slow zombie debate all over again. But those people talking about the “zombie rules” are focused soley on George Romero’s zombies.
There’s more than just Romero zombies out there. What about Haitian Voodoo zombies? They don’t conform to Romero’s rules and that’s where “zombie” legends come from.
I’m doing a series right now about all the different types and classes of zombie. (Voodoo, viral, revenent, Jasonesque, Frankenstein’s monster type,….ect.)
It should spark a lot of argument… Looking forward to it.

Give that a look, it was read on Library of the Living Dead episode 60 around the one hour mark.
It’s a pretty in depth recounting of the zombie myth from all around the world from numerous sources.
Awesome, that will help my little project out a lot. Thanks.
