Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dawn of the Dreadfuls, which goes on sale March 23, is set four years before the bloody events of PP&Z and shows how Jane Austen’s Elizabeth Bennet turned from a naive teenager into a slayer of the undead.
Edgar, Shamus and Anthony awards finalist Steve Hockensmith continues the Austen/zombie mashup now that Seth Grahame-Smith has moved on to Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
Before you click, fair warning. The trailer is a little bit gory….. (Oh come on! Just Cowboy up and click the trailer. A little blood ain’t going to kill you.)

Some of the sketches I’ve been working on for the upcoming Cast page of the Webcomic. These were digitally inked with Illustrator. Really liking the way illustrator makes my line art work. I’ve always had a slight tremmor in my hands, with illustrator I can set the smoothing of my lines to compensate. It makes my linework much smoother and helps me be faster.
With any luck some day this will be a five day a week webcomic. Wouldn’t that be nice.

Don’t let this crappy trailer fool you, “Undead or Alive” was actually a pretty good movie. I just watched this on Netflix and I thought I would give you my half @$$ed review. I would use my whole @$$, but what would I sit on?
This movie is a cut above your usual B movie fair and I really enjoyed it. I laughed myself silly through the entire movie. I loved the mixing of genres (Horror/western/comedy). Having zombies in a western is not new, but is still a nice change of pace from your typical zombie apocalypse film…. And this was actually really funny.
Despite having my least favorite comic from Saturday Night Live in it (Chris Kattan) I really enjoyed this movie. The acting was pretty good, there was a sufficient amount of gore to make me happy and did I mention it made me laugh…. a lot.
If you’ve got Netflix, you should still be able to stream this to your monitor. I assure you it is worth your time.
