The mythology is great, even though difficult to get a full understanding, unless you read every single story, short, and poem. (and that's not including the stories written by his close friends. Bad news for H.P. fans, the movie of the "Mountains of Madness" that was going to be directed by Guillermo Del Toro got shut down during pre-production in the last month or so. Good news for H.P. fans(this one could be open for debate) "Re-Animator the Musical" is going to start shows soon in Cali. If it was not for "Evil Dead the Musical" (One of the greatest things I have ever seen hit Broadway) I would be scared, but my interest is itching. I have enjoyed Lovecraft on and off.
